So I'm gonna put up the four options I made from what you described to me. I hope I understood you well enough and am going in the right direction. If not, feel free to set me straight.

So the first option is not as bright and elegant as what I think you are looking for, but I couldn't help but offer it. It is a little dark and mysterious, so if that's not what you're looking for, I understand.

For the second option, I tried to keep it very simple, just like "A Game of Thrones" novel cover and "Sherlock Holmes" books, just in case that's what you had in mind. I can also change the textures and colors but wanted to see if this is something you wanted.

So I really hope you like this next one. I tried to keep it simple, but it is a little more photograph-oriented, so I understand if you want to pass this one up.

I noticed one of your chapters in the novel mentioned "Forget me not", so I tried to incorporate them (as minor as it might be in the cover).

And just because I love this effect and how it turned out, I thought I'd show you this one!

This next one took a long time, but I thought it looked elegant and simple.

And I know the book has nothing to do with water, but I thought this next one would be somewhat of a possibility.
