26-Getting back home

-Angelie P.O.V-

I was silently watching tv when Steff's dad came in.

"Angelie?"

"Yes po Tito?"

"Do you know Jared's place?"

"Hindi po. Pero baka si Clark po."

"Come with me and ask Clark about Jared's place."

"Bakit po?"

"I will fetch my daughter."

Pagkalabas niya ay agad akong sumunod. Tinawagan ko naman si Clark.

"Yes hon?"

"Ahm pwedi ko bang makuha ang address ni Jared?"

"Why?"

"Susunduin kasi Tito Eric si Steff."

"Ah okay! I'll message you the address."

"Thanks hon."

"Your welcome. I love you."

"I love you too. Bye!"

I hung up. Dumiretso na agad kami sa condo ni Jared. Ganun na lang ang gulat ni Jared ng mapagbuksan niya kami ni Tito Eric.

"Kayo po pala Tito. Tuloy po kayo."

"I'm bringing back home my daughter Jared."

"Alam na po ba ito ni Steff?"

"She doesn't have to know. Where is she?"

"Jared who's that?"

We saw Steff coming out of a room. She look at us surprised.

"Why are you here Dad?"

"I'm taking you home."

"This is my home now Dad!"

"Your coming with me."

Tito Eric grab her wrist and pulled her away.

"I'm not going home Daddy!"

"You are."

"Jared help me!"

"Stay there Jared. It's family matters."

"But Steff was hurt Tito."

"Wag kang makialam Jared. Problema namin to mag-ama."

Napatigil si Jared sa sinabi ni Tito Eric. He look sorry at Steff.

"Argh! I hate you Daddy!"

Wala ng nagawa si Steff kundi ang sumama. Pagkarating sa bahay ay agad na nagwala si Steff.

"Damn it! Why are you ruining my life Daddy?"

"And do you think living with Jared was a good one?"

"Jared is the only person who understand me Dad!"

"Shut up Steffanie! From now on your grounded. No phone and internet!"

"Fuckshit! I hate you Daddy! I hope Mom is still alive!"

"Your Mom left us already! You should accept that."

"No! Never!"

Then she ran upstairs and locked herself on her room. Her dad just sighed and went upstairs too. I just hope Steff will be fine. Even if she act an evil one I know deep inside she's a soft one.

-Liezel P.O.V-

Nasa pinto ako ng kwarto ni Steff nag-dadalawang isip kung kakatok ba o hindi. In the end I decided to knock. Pumasok ako only to find her crying.

"What are you doing here? I don't invite you to in?"

"Gusto lang kitang kamustahin anak?"

"Stop calling me that! Your not my mother!"

She hide under her blanket. Lumapit ako saka umupo sa kama niya.

"Pwedi kang umiyak sa akin Steff."

"I miss my Mom badly! Why did she have to leave so early?"

"I know I can't replace your mother Steff. But I can be one if you let me."

"Why are you so good on me Liezel? When all I did was to bully you and your daughter."

Tumingin siya sa akin. Nginitian ko siya.

"Mahal kita na parang totoong anak ko Steff. At alam kong kahit gaano ka pa kalupit may isang anghel na nakatago."

"Why? Did daddy told you to check on me?"

"Hindi! Wag kang magalit sa Daddy mo Steff. Ikaw lang ang inaalala niya."

"I don't think so."

Tumahimik ako. Napangiti ako nang bigla siyang nagtanong sa bagay na hindi ko inaasahan.

"Why did you love my Dad Liezel? Where is Angelie's father?"

"He left me for another woman. And I don't know why I love your Dad Steff. Ganyan naman siguro ang pagmamahal diba?"

"I don't know."

"You once love Clark right? How come you don't know?"

"I'm not sure. Yes he can be the perfect boyfriend material but i'm not sure now that if I do really love him."

"One day you will find out."

"I need to be alone Liezel."

"Okay! Pag kailangan mo ng kausap andito lang kami ni Angelie anak."

"Yeah! Whatever!"

Tumayo na ako saka siya iniwan. Paglabas ko ng kwarto niya ay nakita ko si Angelie.

"Anak? May kailangan ka?"

"Kumusta po si Ate Steff Ma?"

"She will be fine."

Ngumiti ako saka sabay kami na bumaba. I just hope it will be a start of our good relationship with Steff.
