Backstory: The Athena Parthenos is/was one of the biggest statues in ancient Greek. It was an 11.5 metre statue (37 feet, 9 inches) of the Virgin Greek Goddess of War and Wisdom. But, it disappeared during the time the Romans took over.
Which has left many to believe that the Romans stole and destroyed it, but how they managed to sneak out an 11.5 metre statue without anyone noticing? That's the mystery.
There's a big replica of it in the U.S.A, though. It stands 41 feet tall, and is the largest indoor statue.

........Now, to the poem.....

Wisdom stands tall above all others,
The sky's favourite of all daughters.
Built in Greece, the greatest work of time,
Taken away by vengeful crime.

However they pray for it be back to its place,
It is still missing, without a trace.
They searched above and under without a trail,
To where the Romans had hid their Holy Grail.

The Greeks never found out whether deep in the soil it had blend,
For the Romans torment had no end.

Yet somewhere it is waiting to be found,
The gold in its eyes now drowned.

............

I'm so sorry if this sucked, poems are really not my thing. But if you liked it, I wouldn't mind the vote.
