HK-47: The White Fang's Assassin

Chapter Four - Targets

After the raid on the Schnee Dust Company train, HK-47 began making the journey to Vale in search for Blake Belladonna as well as hunt down the targets given to him by Adam Taurus. On his way to Vale, HK-47 saw an Atlesian Airship flying over him. He saw the logo of the Schnee Dust Company on the side. 

HK-47: Statement: How convenient. Time to kill some meatbags!

HK-47 took aim at his Blaster Rifle and took aim at the airship. After running some scans, he fired on one of the airship's engines. As HK-47 fired on the airship, he airship quickly lost control and crashed into a nearby forest. At the crashsite, the surviving Atlesian soldiers led by Lieutenant Amadeus Serrano helped the civilians onboard which included Jonathan Kane.

Kane: What in Oum's name happened?!

Serrano: I don't know sir. I'm having one of my men check on the airship. 

Kane: I hope this won't take long. I have important work to do!

Serrano turned to one of his men who was inspecting the damage done on the ship. 

Serrano: Trooper! Were you able to find anything?

Atlesian Trooper: Looks like someone took a shot at the ship. 

Upon hearing this, Serrano was skeptical about this. Upon closer inspection, Serrano was dumbfounded to see that the ship was taken out by what appeared to be a single precise strike. 

Serrano: Something's not right....

Suddenly, the trooper next to Serrano was shot in the head. 

Serrano: WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!

Serrano then pulled out a pistol and began firing into where the shot came from. Soon enough, the rest of the Atlesian troopers fired into the forest as blaster fire took them out one by one. 

Atlesian Trooper: Stop these bastards! 

As the Atlesian troopers continued to fired, Serrano made his way to a frightened Kane. Meanwhile, HK-47 emerged from his vantage point and killed the Atlesian troopers with ease. 

HK-47: Mockery: You meatbags are of no match for me!

HK-47 continues to massacre the Atlesian troopers until none remain. He soon saw the civilians try to run away, but they don't make it very far as HK-47 shoots them down without mercy. Eventually, he makes it to the crash site where Serrano attempts to lead Kane away, but HK-47 shoots Serrano in the back, fatally wounding him. He then shoots Kane in the leg to keep him from running away. 

HK-47: Commentary: One dead organic meatbag, coming up!

Without hesitation, HK-47 shoots Serrano in the head, killing him. Kane the cowers in fear as HK-47 walks to him.

Kane: What is the meaning of this?! I order you to shut down immediately! 

HK-47: Statement: Jonathan Kane, you have been targeted for extermination by order of the White Fang. 

A this point, Kane quickly realized HK-47 was responsible for shooting down the ship and was ordered to kill him. Kane then begins to bargain for his life. 

Kane: Please! Don't kill me! I'll do anything! I have powerful friends! I don't want to die!

Hk-47: Observation: Your cries of mercy are wasted on a droid, meatbag. 

Kane felt crippling fear as he stared down the barrel of HK-47's blaster rifle. HK-47 showed no emotion on his droid face as Kane pleaded for his life.

Kane: No....no! 

HK-47 then shoots Kane in the head, killing him. After killing Kane, HK-47 scours the area for any survivors and kills them. After that, HK-47 simply continues on his way to Vale to track down Blake. Meanwhile, Blake was on board a Bulkhead heading straight to Beacon Academy. As Blake reads her book in peace, her attention soon falls on a broadcast on a nearby screen. Balke saw Lisa Lavender of the Vale News Network giving a report. 

Lisa: Tragedy has struck Vale when a Atlesian Bulkhead was shot down just a few hours ago. All passengers were killed from what appeared to be the work of a terrorist attack. Among the victims are Jonathan Kane: a high ranking member on the Board of Directors of the Schnee Dust Company and Lieutenant Amadeus Serrano: a distinguished Atlesian Military official. It is unconfirmed at this time, but it is believed that this attack has been committed at this time. More will be revealed as the situation develops. 

As the broadcast concludes, Blake's heart stopped. She knew of only one person capable of such a slaughter. 

Blake: (HK-47.....no....it can't be....)

Blake looked around the bulkhead to see if HK-47 was in the bulkhead. Paranoid briefly took over Blake's mind as she didn't know whether HK-47 was in the process of hunting her down. After that, Blake took a moment to calm herself down as she fixed her black bow covering her cat ears. 

Blake: (Adam....)

Blake continued to reflect on Adam and wondered if he was capable of sending HK-47 after her for  leaving the White Fang. While it seemed impossible to her that Adam would do such a thing, she noticed changed in Adam that differed to what she was. She saw Adam as a kind and caring leader who meant well for the Faunus, but his recent actions put an end to those thoughts. Blake took a moment to reflect on both Adam and HK-47 as well as the recent situation. What Blake didn't know was the HK-47 was hot on her trail. As HK-47 reach the outskirts of Vale, HK-47 looks to the sign that mentions Beacon Academy. It became clear to HK-47 that Beacon Academy would be the best place to start in his search for Blake.
