What if your world was a living hell? Not a little scolding from your parents for failing math, but worse. What if no one talked to you at school, your teachers literally hated you, you had to walk to school because you couldn't find a seat on the bus, your parents were divorced, your dad was an alcoholic and a pimp, your mum was a prostitue and a crack addict, and you were all alone in your little world? Welcome to Casey's life. People on the street ask her if she's alright and she lies, saying she is. You would too, if you lived her life. Finally, one act of bullying pushes Casey over the edge, and she runs away. She runs as fast and as far as she can, catching rides in the cargo of airplanes and semis. Which puts her in Ireland. Mullingar, to be exact. She has hardly anything, except for an old guitar from her grandfather when life was good, and a few clothes. She doesn't mean to run into Niall Horan. In fact, she'd really rather not. But, when she gets a job to teach guitar lessons, she does meet him. And he asks her to be One Direction's opening act. So she becomes a liar beyond any other. Which lands her in the deep, dark pit of love.
