This is called a Rosy Maple Moth, but if you wanna be all fancy and scientific, you can call this cutie a Dryocampa rubicunda!

This beautiful moth will live two to nine months! Just like all other moths, they are born without mouths! So for their entire life they don't eat! Instead of eating, they vibe and mate. They are about 1-2 inches long. These types of moths can be owned as pets! They are very low maintenance because.. they don't eat. They can be found in Eastern North America! And a few other places but like you get the point-
They live on Maple trees! But live on oaks as well!
The extremely fancy name for this little fella, is Benny!
