There's always a benefit in moving a whole country away from where your life moulded. It's the fresh start, the new beginning. It's the exploring new neighbourhoods, the new food, new environment. But no one talks about the non beneficial side to it. Having no friends. No family to hug. Only hearing their voices through a call, an expensive call!
It was so bright in my room, however I loved it. I left the curtains open in my new apartment last night on purpose, so I could wake up to the sun. No more sleeping in for me, I gotta get out and do shit. These boxes aren't going to unpack themselves!
I got up with one eye still shut and stumbled to my attached bathroom, I need to do something about the mess on my face. It was my face. That's the mess.
After completing my usual morning routine which was simply throwing my curly auburn hair into a bun and washing my face, followed by brushing my teeth, I got the sudden urge to make coffee. Too bad my kitchen isn't even set up yet, now this is going to be a struggle.

Woohoo! This was good news, it was only 8am and I still have 2 hours! Modelling for Bryant has been a dream of mine since, forever really. I've always had a passion for modelling but back home there weren't really many opportunities for me. Bryant reaches out to me on Instagram and I jumped at the opportunity. He's really the only reason I moved to LA. I grabbed my water from last night and started to reply to him.

After I sent the text, I started looking for something to wear. I wanted to be comfortable but still look nice, I mean, I was meeting with a potential new manager, I basically had to look good. Isn't this like a job interview?
I changed into my favourite lucky jeans and the most comfortable yellow sweater. It didn't look too bad, but I don't think it's been washed for days...oh well!
