So often snipped in the bud,
Not allowed to blossom and grow,
And when the snipping is not done,
Then the growth is rather slow,
For want of proper nourishment.
In spite of this...
If growth takes place...
Then obstacles and hurdles
Are placed, in this life's race.
Yet if the race is won,
By assidiousness and grit,
What awaits is a life of stress...
She stands alone - the Indian Woman
And amidst all odds -
She stands unbeaten
Underlining the facts of oppression
And exploitation in her life
But not shying away......ever!
