It's a sad thing to think of, 12 years olds starving themselves to "fit in",11 year old crying themselves to sleep every night because they aren't what society calls "perfect", this is the sad truth that we must face. Our human race is a sick place full of hate and rejection, but also love and acceptation. In my 12 years of life I've found that the happiest people are the best of actors... I've met a girl, I thought she was very confident and happy with herself kinda girl. I was wrong. She had anorexia. She was the most sweetest girl I ever met, to find out she had this sickening demon in her head made me terrified. I didn't know what to do, what to say, what to ask, until she asked me to do something. She asked me to be there for her. To never leave her side. Stay positive for her, even on the darkest days. My advice for friends of depressed, anorexic, Bi-Polar, or any disordered people is to stay with them, even if they push you away. Never listen to them if they say go away, because if you can be the reason someone is still here, then you yourself will feel more wanted.
