QUINN REID almost teared up when she found out she had to get a summer job. She expected to choose, but her mother already planned it out. She would stay in her grandparents beach house, get training, and become a lifeguard for the summer.

Quinn was on her swim team at her high school, and had worked as a lifeguard in her local pool, but the ocean was a different story. She immediately told her mom she didn't have what it took to become a lifeguard, and wouldn't even make it through the training.

Her mom wouldn't take no for an answer though, so Quinn went to training and became a lifeguard for her whole summer. Even thought she was dreading it, she quickly became excited when she met another lifeguard, Johnny Orlando.
