I... I like Kacchan!

Every new Beginning comes from some other Beginnings End.

~Sorry this is super short, but I wanted this to be it's own chapter. ~

It was a cloudy January day of a new year as people stood dressed in nice outfits listening to the priest chanting a mantra.

Many familiar faces were there. Bakugou and his friends plus Juden, Midoriya and his friends with Momo, Tsukuru, and Uku. Other members of Class 1-A and the staff from U.A. attended. Present Mic and Aizawa who brought Shinsou and Eri with them, were there too. Mirio, Amajiki, and many Pro heroes also joined. All attendees had a connection to one person.

When the mantra was done, people gave their flowers and respects. The crowd dispersed pulling out their umbrellas because the sky got dark, the clouds got heavy, and it started to rain.

Midoriya stood there, left in the cold rain as his peers walked away.

(I knew this day would come... and I know I should smile, but I just can't.)

Bakugou looked back when he noticed that Midoriya wasn't following him.

(I'm... glad it's raining today.) A mix of cold rain water and salty tears rolled down Midoriya's face

Bakugou walked back to Midoriya
(Out of everyone here, I know you're the one hurting the most.)

"Deku don't stand in the rain you'll catch a cold." Bakugou moved his arm forward so Midoriya was under the umbrella

The two were alone. Everyone was getting in their cars to leave.

"I should've went to see him more." Midoriya said quietly
(Why didn't I?)

"Huh?"

"I should've spent more time with him."
(He gave me everything and I took his limited time for granted.)

"You visited him every week." Bakugou said

"A long time ago I told him I would change what Sir Nighteye predicted and I didn't. I didn't change anything. I didn't keep my promise to him Kacchan! I failed! I failed All Mi-" Midoriya was cut off by Bakugou pulling him into a hug

(Don't do this to yourself. There's nothing you could've done.)
"Deku stop you didn't fail anyone and All Might wouldn't want you to be upset like this."

(All Might wouldn't-)
"How would you know! It's not like you even care!" Midoriya froze realizing he lashed out at Bakugou

"Wait I'm sorry, I- I didn't mean that. I'm sorry... I'm so sorry Kacchan." Midoriya hugged Bakugou tears still rolling down his cheeks

(I wish I knew how to fuckin help you Deku.)
"Lets go home." Bakugou escorted Midoriya back to their car still holding the black umbrella above their heads

Then they got in the car Bakugou drove them home.

Midoriya was laying on his bed crying in silence.

"I made dinner." Bakugou popped his head into Midoriya's room

"I'm... not hungry." Midoriya was facing away so Bakugou could only see his back

"Deku you gotta eat."
(He hasn't eaten today at all and not much in general since we got the damn news.)

"Can you please leave me alone Kacchan." Midoriya asked in a weak voice

"I'll put it in the microwave."
(I can't let him starve to death, but I can't force him to eat either. What the hell do I do?)

Bakugou ate by himself then went to the bathroom to brush is teeth before getting ready for bed.
