He looked up into the eyes of his attacker, one of the only people he trusted
"sola....what's wrong with you?"
He saw her gathering another fireball her eyes cold and black
"Hahah! That's not my name, never was"
She blasted the fireball at him but he dodged to the side hearing the riders voice in his head
"Traitorous wench! I knew we shouldn't have trusted her!"
"Not now, we need to survive "
"Agreed!"
Y/n transformed painfully and reached for his chain only to remember it was still in his room
"Shit!"
He made his own fireball and lobbed it at the angry Phoenix woman to no real affect
"Hahah, y/n you weak pathetic fool, I cannot allow you to live, your prophecy ends here"
Y/n was confused by that, what prophecy?
"I have no idea what your talking about!"
She blasted him again but this time it only threw him back a bit, she burned with a red burning flame around her
"You will die as you lived, scared , weak....and alone"
As soon as she said alone a thunderous crash sounded nearby and a tree flew through the air hitting sola square in the face
"Maybe not so alone" Y/n said under his breath as he stood to see a blue white blur move past him and strike the Phoenix
The figure who stood looked like an oni warrior, dressed nearly identical to his own teacher miss lector, except she was blue, carried a large warhamer and had a glowing aura surrounding her body

The mysterious woman glanced at him briefly, she looked both to be an adult, 7 ft tall and pissed
She looked down at sola who growled and tried to blast the oni only to have her hands smacked to the side by a hammer
"Your supposed to be dead! "
The tiniest smirk pops across the onis face as she leans down and whispers
"I am " Before she she brings her hammer down on Silas kneecap sounding off a sickening crunch
Solas screams echoed through the forest
Y/n regained his mind and watched all of this unfold, he had trusted sola..... but what kind of goddess was able to get hurt like this
"Y/n! Help me!" The Phoenix screamed but the rider only watch
The blue oni brought her hammer down on solas right shoulder breaking that as well
"This is for emiko, for taking away my daughters!"
"You dirty bitch! You will not..."
She was silenced when a single swing of a hammer removed her head from her shoulders
The oni growled before turnin to the metal moth that had sent sola over the edge
"Greetings old friends, it is good to see you"
She put her hand in it and it began to glow blue before it melted and something emerged
Y/n could see giant moth like wings attached to a dark humanoid body, a legend, a monster
The moth man
Its eyes glowed red but the oni woman simply smiles
"This boy is your charge now, do for him what you did for me"
The moth man made a purring noise and nods bowing a little before it spread its wings and flapped up to sit in a nearby tree, just watching
"Calm yourself rider, the moth man isn't evil, nor is it good, but it's a warning and a force of nature, so is she"
Out of the melted metal moth a shadow emerged taking on a titanic shap in the sky
"Mosura......" Y/n mumbled under his breath, the goddess of light and peace, but she was just a legend.... a fairy tale
The oni continued to speak
"I don't have much time, the prophecy has been set anew, I believe you to be the one this time...... like I was before you.... I can't explain"
The rider stared at the demon as he still was on the rider state, he could sense no evil intent from this woman..... in fact he couldn't sense anything about her
"Your wondering why you can't feel anything, it's because your searching on the plain of the living, I don't reside in that place, died many years ago"
That made sense, his ass had just gotten saved by a ghost oni woman who killed a Phoenix, that should be impossible
"My time is short, the cycle begins once again, my name is Marci deathshead, you know one of my daughters, Hanna lector, please tell her what happened here, she will understand, and when you meet erma, tell her I'm sorry for being a poor excuse for a mother..... and whatever happens, know I'll be watching over you....as do all of the chosen int this line....do us proud "
And with that she began to fade away closing her eyes
"Keep an eye on him moth"
Y/n turned to where the moth man had been to see he had disappeared as had mosura......he was alone and his fire sputtered down and out until he was himself again
He ran.... ran towards the school as fast as he could, he needed to tell someone, anyone what had happened, first he would look for andromeda
He trusted that imp most of all in the school
