Chapter 1: Full of Hope

Alex: “You should go there! A whole fuckin' year, man. I can’t put up with Ms. Yukizome anymore.”

(Y/N): "Hey, I wasn't asking you to protect me from her."

Alex: "Pfft. Your face practically screamed: "Help me, Alex!"

(Y/N): “Yeah, Yeah… "You are my hero" bla bla bla... My gut gives me bad feelings when I think of this school.”

Alex: “But that’s no reason to keep your best friend hangin’.”

…

(Y/N): “Yeah it is.”

Alex: “Shut up!” The girl took (Y/N) into her right arm and ruffled through his hair.

(Y/N): “Hey, stop it!” He finally broke free.

Alex: “What would the", she looks at the letter he got, "Super Highschool-Level Multi-Instrumentalist" even do at this place?"

(Y/N): "I don't know. Tell me: "Super Highschool-Level Songwriter"!"

Alex: "Shut up, man." The girl chuckled. "Now let's go inside before I change your mind." She runs inside the school.

(Y/N): "Huh? Wait up!"

He joined her inside the school without a care in the world.
 
But then he bumped into someone on his way in.

It was Alex.

Alex: "Hey! You're not gonna pull off that "main character bumps into his dream girl on his first day" cliche, are you?!", she cackled.

(Y/N): "I'm sorry. Should have hung a sign over your big fat butt."

Alex: "Oh you did not just say that!"

The two childish friends ran around the halls, ever carelessly.

Once (Y/N) reached the door to the classroom he looked down to his friend who was looking up the staircase. His sign said: 2-B while hers said: 1-A.

(Y/N): "This is where our ways part. See you around, I guess.", he said, sighing heavily.

Alex: “See you later, (Y/N). And don’t you dare run away. I will look for you. I will find you. And I will kill you.”

(Y/N): “Nice reference, buttface.”

Alex: “You little shi-” 

Before Alex finished her sentence, (Y/N) was already inside, looking for an empty place to sit in. This proved to be an easy task, since all of the other students were already sitting in their assigned seats.

The boy got everyone’s attention as he walked over to his seat.

???: “What’s up with him?”, a slender girl with long, blonde hair tangled into a curved ponytail said. She also wore a Kimono. “Hey! Are you lost or something?”

(Y/N) looked around, looking for where the loud noise came from. Once he figured out who it was he gave her a shocked expression.

(Y/N): “What? Me?”

???: “Of course you, you idiot.”

(Y/N): “Well if it isn’t Class 77-B then I’m most certainly wrong.”

???: “This IS class 77-B but I’ve never seen you here before.”

(Y/N): “Must be because I skipped the whole past year.” He rubbed the back of his neck.

Everyone in the class let out a loud gasp. (Y/N) smirked a bit as he noticed that the whole class was listening to the conversation.

???: “B-But how did you get past Ms. Yukizome?”
