Midoriya Izuku had strangely thought about death way too many times to count in all the 24 years he has lived but he had never thought about his death.

But as the wall's collapsed next to him, as the metal that pierced through him made blood come to his throat, as the gas in the abandoned building made his head hurt and as the flames that surrounded him felt more and more hot every second he wished that he had.

Say something,

He wished that he had hugged his mother more,

He wished that he had patted Kota and Eri's hair more,

He wished that he had listened to Gran Torino and Aizawa sensei more,

He wished that he had confessed to Shoto at least once.

I'm giving up on you

He wished and he wished but it was certain now that his wishes would never come true

Because he was going to die

And that was going to be it

And I'll be the one,

Last week he had been called on a mission and it had happened to be a colab mission with all of his old class-mates

It was supposed to be like a dream come true because even thought he had always talked with them on the phone whenever he had had time he hadn't been able to meet them face to face and now 19 of his favorite people were going to be together

But it had been like a nightmare

It had turned out the reason that he hadn't been able to see most of them together had been because they had had way too many conflicts after U.A and after not getting enough time to get over the bad blood between them they had just ignored each other.

And the first two fights had been horrible but the one from last night had gotten the award of the year, they had all gotten physical towards the end of the fight and Eijirou, Koji along with Izuku almost hadn't been enough to stop the fight

if you want me to

So when detective Tsukauchi had called them to inform them of a dealing taking place in an abandoned building none of them had wanted to go and check it out and even thought Eijirou and Koji had wanted to check it out he had stopped them

Anywhere,

Izuku had asked them to take care of the others, make sure none of them injured each other and that to maybe convince them to work together.

I would've followed you

It was supposed to be a small mission and Izuku was normally more aware of his surroundings but this time he had ended up seeing the bomb too late because he had been busy thinking about his friends,

And now he had four ways he could die from along with a comm that wasn't able to reach his ex-classmates.

Say something,

He lied down no longer having enough strength to stay in a sitting position and picked up his comm to try to contact his friends one last time
