In November 2019 I decided to work on self publishing my novel.
From then until 1 Dec 2020...
Jewel of the Sea was sent off for a developmental edit. When I actioned the feedback, I renamed my novel Ocean Heart.
This wasn't the end of editing. Ocean Heart had several edits by myself and myself actioning feedback from my editor, after every professional round of edits. My editor was Alwyn Hamilton,.
Ocean Heart then got a professional cover created by Original Book Cover Designs. It got professional formatting by Evenstarbooks.
I've written a number of blog posts on self publishing and what I learnt doing it.

What's next...
I'm now working on Sky Heart, book 2 in the Soul Heart series. This book has been known by other names on Wattpad like Glide or Diamond in the Sky.
Sky Heart tells Kiely's story. She tries to escape her heartache, and runs into trouble... shifter trouble. Kiely discovers some lies are bigger than her own. With the lives of her loved ones under threat she's trapped to do the Crow King's bidding. Or, is she the only one that can stop him?
