It’s a nice weather to start my day. The clouds are too clear and the sun is too bright that’s also saying “hey! Start your day already. You have a lot of article to work on.”
It’s been 4 years since I lived here, away from the people who treat me like a trash and also from the people who I loved. Ever since I go here at US, I already cut my communication to my friends and some people to the Philippines but not to my family. Sometimes I talk to my family but its just like a very quick kamustahan lang kasi I’m too busy with my work. Sometimes nga mapapagalitan na nila ako masyado ko daw kinakawawa yung sarili ko but I can’t help it ito lang yung way para makalimutan ko yung mga nangyari.
It’s been 4 years and I might say that I feel good and I’m doing good. I’ve moved on but I can’t forgive them pa sa ngayon. Siguro darating yung time para dun.
I work as editor in chief in a magazine company and I think my experience working here in magazine company is a good idea because I can meet someone or somebody, and I can talk to other people it’s either they are popular or not.
“Goodmorning Ms. Lee!” bati ko sa katabi ko. Siya si Rachel Lee, half pinay and half Chinese. Mabait at comfortable ako pag siya ang kasama ko minsan nga parang kapatid na ang Turing ko rito dahil medyo bata pa nga siya at kulang pa sa experience.
“Goodmorning too Ma’am Lacerna. I already sent you an email that you need regarding to our next project.” Sambit niya.
“Thank you, Ms Lee.” Sagot ko rito bago nagtungo sa aming snack room dahil nga parang nauuhaw ako sa coffee ngayon ay mabilis akong naglakad dala dala ang aking White mug.
Pagkatapos kong magtimpla ng Americano coffee ay nagtungo na rin ako kaagad sa aking table. At binuksan ang aking email. Hay naku ang dami ko na namang babasahin at bubuksan na email at iasa nandun ang email ng aking kaibigan na si Bella. Pagkabukas ko ng email niya tumambad sa kin ang isang floral wedding invitation halata dahil sa mga nakasulat sa loob nito.
“Dash, it’s been a while. I hope your doing well there and also I wish that you can come to my wedding. Please as your bestfriend attend my wedding pa bawi lang sa taon na nawala ka. Thank you in advance. Lovelots Dash!” dagdag pa nito sa invitation na ipinadala niya.
