It was an average day for me, actually, of late, it's been even more average and more boring. Hi! I'm (y/n) Akamatsu! In case you were wondering why my days have been so boring, it's because I'm waiting for an answer, well, two answers to be precise. Me and my sister, Kaede, enrolled in a very prestigious school called Hope's Peak Academy about a week ago...
(y/n)'s normal POV
I should go check the mail, might as well, not like I have anything better to do... what was Kaede doing? I walked towards her room and say her playing piano with headphones connected. She's such a good sister! See, since she's always playing, it gets really irritating. I decided to leave her be and let her practice in peace. As I went outside I saw my neighbors, I waved as usual. When I got to the mail box I noticed it wasn't empty like normally, could it be that it finally came in?! I quickly fumbled through my pockets to get the key and then unlocked metal container. I gasped as I pulled out the two letters in front of me and then slowly raised it into the air like Simba. After I was done I noticed I got a few stares from surrounding joggers, meh who cares! Me and Kaede
got into our dream school!
Buh-Bye losers meteeteeteetee!
I bolted home as fast as I could and unlocked the door, I made my way to my sister's room and slammed the door open. "(y/n)! Stop slamming things! I've told you this before-" I showed the letters, she gasped "are those..." I aggressively nodded my head. She squealed and put her headphones down. She grabbed my hand and we jumped up and down, squealing more in celebration.
After the excitement dyed down a little I looked at her, "Y'know what we should do big sis?"
"What's up?" she asked
"Ice cream!"
Her eyes shot open and she quickly left the room, she came back not soon after, "Well, come on then!"
"Oh, wait, right now?" jeez, okay then
"Uh, duh, where else would we be going?"
"Don't be so meeaaaannnn!"
she rolled her eyes and practically dragged me outside
~ time skip ~
After Ice Cream, we got distracted and went shopping. Kaede got these cool music notes hair clips and some other music related things. I got a really cute baby blue sleeping mask, some earplugs, nose plug, and very thick winter gloves.(AN you'll find out later meteeteetee!)
How long were we at that store, jeez it's already dark.
"Hey Kaede, we should head home."
"I was just thinking the same thing, okay, lets go." she smiled at me
We were walking on the sidewalk, the street illuminated by the rusty lampposts. On the contrary to my sister's excessive piano practicing and my talkative, bubbly personality, we both really enjoyed silence. As we walked, quietly, back to our house, I felt a hand cover my mouth with some kind of cloth, I looked at my sister who had the same thing done to her. After a few seconds of us both trying to fight back, failing, everything went black.
