CHAPTER 14 CAUGHT

"What I'm I going to do Ace" Daphne paced about still in Ace's office
"What do you mean by what are you going to do? Daphne I'm sure Xavier knows nothing, you're just worrying yourself over nothing, besides it's not like you've done anything wrong and on the other hand they should be worried that you're alive incase Xavier really found out that you're Amethyst, don't worry everything will turn out fine" Ace advised
"But what if..."
"What if nothing Daph, you're stronger than you realize, everything is going to be fine you just wait and see and you know I'm here to help right?" Ace hugged her whilst patting her hair to sooth her when someone interrupted them
"Oii Ace are we not going to continue shooting the scenes today" a man from the camera team asked
"No why do you ask, Xavier is not here" Ace asked seemingly confused
" Xavier came back , didn't he speak to you?"
" No and what do you mean Xavier came back"
" oh he was here about 15 or so minutes ago, he was standing behind your door when I saw him , didn't he enter?" Worried Ace pushed him aside and went out his officer with Daphne in tow
" who else saw Xavier at my door about 15 minutes ago" Ace asked quiet loudly
" I did, he stood there about 5 to 10 minutes and he suddenly run out from here, but he was quiet pale" a woman answered from where the cameras and lightning were been packed

" oh my God, oh my God this can't be happening" Daphne said " Ace I told you he know , now get do I do"
Grabbing her hand Ace pulled her to his office way from prying eyes and locked his office door
" Daphne calm down, we are not sure yet, I'm sure there's a reason for all this which is not what you're thinking"
"What else Ace, tell me what else I know he knows and he's probably telling his family now"
"Didn't you tell me Xavier wasn't in town when his family did what they did " Ace asked
" he wasn't but knowing Xavier he will help his family"
"Why would you think so"
"Because Ace, Xavier always chooses where there's money ,he had been a gold digging manwhore since a kid and that's not going to change now" Daphne replied
" Then why did you love him back then as a teenager "
"Because just because " Daphne nibbled on her lower lip something she did when she was nervous or hiding something
" oh my God Daphne Amethyst Knight, don't tell me you still like him after 5 years " Ace exclaimed when he caught on
" no Ace"she raked her fingers through her hair and scratched her forehead something she did when she lied. Looking at Ace giving her the 'are you serious right now look' she sighed " OK fine I don't know but I don't think so Ace" she relented "but knowing Xavier he's probably telling his family and I need mine ,oh my God Ace , Riley and Blake my Children, I've got to get them,what was I thinking " she babbled on

Grabbing her shoulders Ace turned her to face him" OK Daphne call the school, I will drive , let's go pick them
Nodding she picked her phone and started calling the school whilst walking with Ace to her car , calling Riley's first since hers was closer then Blake's
Upon arriving at the school she found Riley bouncing on her feet with a teacher in front of the building , thanking the teacher she hugged Riley and carried her to the car then buckled her in her booster seat then sat at the passenger seat in front with Ace
" Daphne why did you pick me up, we've not closed school yet " Riley asked

"Because Riley Darling we have to discuss something with you an Blake at home " Ace answered after glancing at Daphne who seemed to be on another galaxy altogether . in record time they reached Blake's school to find him already outside waiting patiently , spotting them he made his way to the car settling on beside Riley

"What's up ,what's wrong Daphne?" He asked as soon as he placed on his seat belt
" Uncle Ace said they have something to tell the both of us at home "Riley answered after Ace had started the car again heading towards their houde. " oh Boy " Blake mumbled after glancing at Daphne " this won't be good" .

"What do you mean Amethyst Knight is alive" Xavier mother asked after their shock wore off "she died in the fire like everyone else"
" well she's alive and she's Daphne Scoot "Xavier said leaning back in the chair
" I know you like joking but this not something to joke about " his father said
" Do I look like I'm joking, aparatently she didn't die like you though, how she survived I'm not sure but I know she's Amethyst Knight " Xavier said
" how are you so sure" Anthony countered back
" there's this birthmark or scar or whatever on the back of her neck and Daphne has the same thing".
" how does that say she's Amethyst, it could be a tattoo" his dad shook his head
" and I heard her and Ace talking , saying she's sure I saw the mark when acting out the scene for the new movie and that the whole revenge got ruined now" Xavier shrugged leaning back in the chair once more
"What to do Carlisle " his mom Mia asked panicking
"I knew there was something strange about that girl, didn't I say that when she came for the party" Anthony hummed "what are we going to do dad"
"In this kind of battle the person who strikes first always wins" Carlisle smiled " what else do you know about her life now Xavier "
" I know she has a daughter and apparently the baby father is dead and now she's left with a 4 or 5 year old baby and a teenage brother of her deceased baby daddy not much really " Xavier supplied , smirking Carlisle stood up
" first things first , you and Anthony are going to confront her tomorrow and record whatever happens there "

"What happened Daph"Blake asked as soon as they got home
"Xavier knows I'm Amethyst" Daphne blurted out no sugarcoating of it she thought
"Daphne we're not really sure of it "Ace offered
"I'm sure Ace and knowing those suck bastard they probably planning as we speak " She said
"Are we now going to die Ameth "Riley sobbed crawling unto Daphne's lap and buried her face in her neck
"Ofcourse not my love ,you're going to be OK and I'll do everything in my power to protect you and Blake even if I die doing that"
" Don't talk about dying Amethyst, don't even talk about it" Blake all but screamed "we can't lose you" Riley sobbed. Taking Blake into him, Ace hugged all of them, breaking at the seams "what are we going to do " Ace asked when everyone calmed down
" first of I'm sending Blake and Riley away, you both are going to Seattle Tacoma, to our home there OK" Daphne said
" no I'm not going anywhere, I want to stay here" Blake countered
" no you and Riley will go first and I'll follow shortly with Ace OK" she replied firmly
"What if they ask you who Blake and Riley are what are you going to say"
"Riley is my daughter, Blake is my brother in law " she shrugged
"First of Ace let's start on transferring my money to my private account from all my public business and also transfer all the shares to the private businesses" Daphne ordered "And I need my lawyers asap"
Picking up a now sleeping Riley she smirked " the game begins now and I'm going to be ready for them "
