chapter 14

Sirius pov

I was walking down the hallway by myself. After y/n disappeared the guys seemed to have stopped talking about her completely like she wasn't even real. I on the other hand have been doing everything in my power to figure it out, I've been contemplating whether or not stepping inside that cabinet but that might be a bad idea for whatever is on the other side.

Lily gave me permission to check y/n's trunk to see if anything in there would give us some info on where she went and why she left, I began to look in the trunk and I found some things in there. I wonder why she didn't take her trunk, I looked at the stuff I found, there was a photograph of her mother and James mother and younger James and y/n were running, it was a cute photo but that wasn't what I was looking for. I began to search deeper into the older looking trunk and when I found a stack of letters I began looking through them. I found that letter she had received about a month ago and it was from her father. I opened it and began to read.

Miss y/n of the l/n household

In the upcoming weeks, your father will be coming to the school, you must go to the third room on the third floor every day around noon. There your father will meet up with you and tell you that plan. You don't come, we find you, you refuse to cooperate, you will be drawn from Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry.

Your father and the order

I reread the letter a thousand times, she refused to cooperate so they had her withdrawn from the school. And what is the order, maybe that big-nosed grease ball knows he's been sneaking off lately doing things with the other Slytherins. I stood up and pocketed the letter and left her dorm.

I walked down the stairs and through the portrait hole, I walked down the hall and began looking for Severus, I looked in places I knew he would be in like the great hall or the library but he wasn't in any of those places. I was walking down by the potions classroom and I saw him, I quickly ran up to him

"Sniv- I mean Severus, I need to speak with you," I said and he just scoffed he was about to leave

"It's about y/n," I said and he stopped.

" Is she okay?! Is she hurt? What's going on"

"That's the thing I don't know. I was hoping you knew something about this." I said as I handed him the letter, he opened it and began to read it, once I assumed he got to the end his eyes went wide and shoved the letter back into my hands.

"I've got to go, I know nothing about that," he said and quickly walked away. He knows something I don't.

I decided to go back to my dorm for the night and just think about it all.

Meanwhile, Severus rushed to a secret meeting

Severus pov

After I saw the letter black showed me I quickly went to the head of our little group,

"Do you know anyone by the name of l/n?" I asked

"Oh yes, he is one of the heads of our little organization. And his daughter is joining us. She's quite a catch. I might make her mine and she can help." He said and I got angry

"You will not touch her!" I calmed myself down

"Where can I find Mr l/n?"

"Third corridor, third room. There's a cabinet in there step in there and when you open it you will be brought to the upstairs of a shop you will find him there." He said and I nodded

I began to walk down the hallway and to the third floor, when I got there I walked into the room, it was an empty room. It had only one thing in there and it was a large dark wood cabinet with wooden decor all on the sides of it. Before I went inside it I looked around the room, it was poorly lit and it had dust and cobwebs everywhere. The floor creaked every time I stepped. I decided to stop looking at the room and just get going inside the cabinet done and over with. I stepped in and closed the door fully before I heard a noise. When I opened the cabinet again I was faced with a bright room in a shop. I looked around before stepping out, I was faced with a large man. He looked down at me

"State your business," he said

"I'm here to see Mr l/n," I said, the large man let out a huff and opened the door. I walked into the room, as I walked in I felt a chill go up to my spine, I noticed Mr l/n standing by a table, with a few other adults all wearing black or dark type of clothing. I saw y/n walk up to her father and whisper something to him, he smiled.

"Come here" he ordered someone to come to him and they did as they were told. Then he noticed me

"Take her to the dark lord, he thinks she's ready for the mark." I heard him say.

"No, wait!" I said and she looked at me with worry

"That's why I came here. She isn't good enough for the dark mark I am, I will become your inside man, give me the dark mark I will prove a much better ally then she will" I said y/n looked at me with shock

"She's too soft. She hangs on to what's dear to her, I on the other have had nobody this entire time. Nobody I hang on to. My hatred and anger are perfect for the lord." I said I knew I was hurting y/n but this was the only way to help her escape this fate

"boy come here" I heard her father say and I walked over to where he was, he grabbed my face and made me look from side to side, he made me look up and down. He let me go and I took a step back, he took out his wand and before I could protest

"Legilimens!" he yelled and I felt light-headed

Memory

y/n and I were hanging outside in the tree. We were just talking and enjoying our time together, this was in the third year when I could have her to myself

"Severus, do you think we will be friends forever?" she asked and I nodded

"Yes we will be, I'll make sure of it,'' I said, this was when I started to like her. I was looking at her and she was just playing with one of the leaves from the tree before I could think I grabbed her face and kissed her. She looked at me with a shocked expression. I blinked and backed away.

"Severus. I uhm i " she tried to say but I stopped her

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that," I said and she started to laugh. She used her hand to ruffle up my hair,

"It's okay, that was my first kiss, so I'm glad it was with you, and not someone who will hurt me in the future," she said, kissed my cheek, she jumped down from the tree and left as I sat there in a blushing mess.

He stopped as I leaned against the table and began to catch my breath, y/n came up to me and put her hand on my shoulder but I pushed her away. Her father watched with a sickening grin on his face. He told the person who was supposed to take y/n something and he came and grabbed me harshly by the arm. He led me out of the room and in the corner of my eye, I saw them grab y/n. I heard them say

"Take her to the room and erase her memory of the last month and a half and give her to Dumbledore. She's useless now to us."

They dragged me into a room and threw me onto the floor, once I looked up I saw him. The dark lord, his pale skin, a chalk-white, skull-like face, snake-like slits for nostrils, red eyes and cat-like slits for pupils, a skeletally thin body and long, thin hands with unnaturally long fingers. It made me shiver at the sight but I quickly got up.

"My lord," I said and he let out a laugh

"Come here and hold out your arm my boy," he said and I did as I was told, I stood beside him and he grabbed my arm and jabbed his wand into my arm. I felt a sharp pain go through my arm and up into my shoulder. I winched and soon the dark mark began forming on my forearm. It moved and moved until it was fully formed. The pain was almost unbearable but I stood strong.

"My lord" I bowed
