"You and your brother gotta go Eddie coming over, and I don't need y'all to be making him mad."

"This your 5th time kicking us out because HES coming over. The hell wrong witchu." Rasiah was fed up with her mother.

"Watchu gon do is watch how you talking." She said staring her up and down. Rasiah sighed and went up stairs to get her brother

"Tahir wake up." Rasiah shook her 10 year old brother

"Siah stopp" he whined

"Get up Tah. We gotta go." Rasiah said picking him up, she bent down and grabbed his shoes and walked down the stairs

"He gon be gone by 11." Her mother said as they walked out the house.

"Hmm put your shoes on." Rasiah said handing Tahir his shoes.

Rasiah picked her head up as she saw Eddie get out his car with a smirk on his face, making Rasiah turn her head the other way.

"Cmon." Rasiah said grabbing her brother hand.

Sometimes they'll roam the streets or they'll go to Rasiah bestfriend house.

"Can we go to Nuni house?" Tahir asked

"Sure." Rasiah said as she walked the way to Nuni house

"Siah my legs hurt," Tahir said as he slowed down walking

"Her house right here Cmon" Rasiah said grabbing his hand.

Rasiah knocked on the door twice waiting for someone to answer.

The door swung open and Nuni appeared

"Hey my li thug." Nuni said picking Tahir up.

"Nuni how many times imma have to tell you he's not 4 anymore." Rasiah said walking in the house.

"I don't care. Imma still pick him up." Nuni said walking to the basement as Rasiah followed.

"Y'all this Rasiah. My bestfriend and her brother Tahir." Nuni greeted

"Hey." Rasiah said waving at them receiving head nods.

"That's Ice. That's Bug, Thats Tay, And Thats Jigga." Nuni said pointing at them

Nuni real name is Kemani but she said she don't like her name so everyone calls her Nuni

"Wassup fool." Tahir said dapping Them up

Tahir was the total opposite of Rasiah. He wasn't really social but he was social enough, he always spoke he mind no matter how anybody felt and he was only 10.

Rasiah was quiet but not quiet, she ain't speak her mind because she'd always put others feelings first before she said something.

"Waddup li bro" they said laughing

"How old you is." Bug asked Rasiah, "I'm 18, you?" Rasiah said

"19, the only Youngin here is Tay. Li 15 year old." Bug said making her laugh

"So the rest of y'all must be like 18 or 19 sumn." Rasiah said

"Yea. Except Jigga he 20." Ice said

"Awn, I wanna be 20, but at the same time I don't wanna rush my age, I'm not ready for the real adult world." Rasiah said

"THANK YOUUU." Tay said

"I've been telling these niggas thet and all they say is you gon have to be ready for the adult world someday. Like if I'm not ready I'm not ready Fuck." Tay said rolling his eyes

"You 15 you got a lonnnng way to go." Rasiah said

"Ion be seeing you around," ice said

"Yea I know. I like staying in the house. Especially if we live in Washington Park." Rasiah said shaking her head

"You live on the south or North?"

"South." She said

"South baby huh." Ice said

"I wish I wasn't." Rasiah said sighing thinking about what's happens on the south

"Why not. This our hood. The South is amazing." Tay said

"Nigga no. This OUR hood. Not yours, yo li ass don't claim shit but school books."
