I can feel that all eyes were on me but I just can't stop staring at the girl next to me. There's just something about her, I can feel a strange connection with her. It's like I have seen her before, she's very familiar. It's like I want to know her better and be her friend.

I live in Magic Island, another realm where only magical creatures can enter, and bringing humans is forbidden.
For many years, magical beings and humans are being separated. Humans are now hunting down magical creatures because we are known to be powerful.
In one of my grandmother's stories, she told me, to be able to cross the other world. I must wait for the magic hour. She said, the portal to the other world only happens once every 10 years on the anniversary of the magical beings and the humans' friendship.
That's the only information I got from the stories of my grandma before she disappeared.
She also left me a compass which doesn't work and a riddle before she was gone. She told me to find something to be strong. It said,
"On that dark night, at the bottom of those stairs
The magic began the moment I saw you
Let's make a magic spell out of your tears
So that there will be no more tears"
I've always wanted to know what this meant. What do I need to find? I just couldn't understand. Why would she just disappear?
My grandmother always wanted to stop the war between magical beings and humans. She believes most humans are good and kind. That's why I decided to go to the human world.
She also told me a story about a legend about a nap of a star. But I couldn't remember the details. It's as if my mind refuses to remember her words. As if it was, JUST A DREAM.
