Chapter 6-Grounded

A Few Hours Earlier
Jaden's POV
We're discussing what we should do today. But we can't decide on anything. So we ask Bella. We wait for her response. And then she says, "Owwww! My arm hurtsss! I don't think I can do anything today because of how badly it hurts!" And then she goes up to her room. Whimpering the whole way upstairs. "That was weird," I say, laughing a little. Everyone nods in agreement.
And then we get ready for the day. When we're all finished getting ready, Anthony says, "We could go to I-Hop." We all agree on that. That's when I say, "But someone needs to look after Bella." Kio volunteers. And then we leave.

When we get back from I-Hop, Kio is just sitting on the couch. Looking at his phone. The rest of the boys flop down on the couch while I go upstairs to check on Bella. But she's not in her room. I go back downstairs. "How is she?" Josh asks. "She's not in her room," I say with panic in my voice. And then all the boys leap up and we all start frantically running around the house looking for Bella. We don't find her anywhere. And that's when we notice Kio still sitting down. "Kio. Where the hell is Bella?" Blake asks. "She went to get pain killers for her arm," Kio says quickly. We're all dead silent. And then Kio says, "Fine. She went out with Payton. She lied about her arm hurting," Kio confesses. "And you let her go to see Payton. By herself," Bryce says, almost yelling. "I didn't think anything of it at the time," Kio says panicked. I call Bella. And sure enough, she's with Payton. And now, we just wait for Bella to come home.

We hear footsteps by the front door. We're all sitting on the couch. Looking through the window next to the door. It's Bella and Payton. They talk for a bit. And then they kiss. "Oh hell no," I say gritting my teeth. And then they say some parting words. And then Payton walks away and Bella walks in. We all look at her. And she can tell that we are pissed.

"Where the hell were you?!?" I yell walking towards her. "I was with Payton," she says. I say, "But where did you guys go?" Bells rolls her eyes and says, "We met at the park, went to In N Out, and then went to the beach." "Interesting. So you lied about your arm hurting just so you could hang out with Payton. And then you take forever to get home. And then you kiss him." Bella death stares Kio. He mouths, "Sorry." to her. "Go to your room Bella. You're grounded. For a whole entire week," I say sternly. "What? That's not fair!" she yells. "Wanna make it 2 weeks?!?" I ask, raising my voice. "I HATE YOU JADEN!" she yells with tears in her eyes. And then she runs upstairs. We hear her bedroom door slam shut.

Isabella's POV

I hate Jaden so much sometimes. Why would he ground me for doing what he did at my age?!? And then I look at my wrists. "No," I think to myself. I take some deep breaths and I try to suppress the thoughts. But there are too many. I slowly go to my bathroom. I open the drawer to where I keep my blades. I take one out. I make a few small cuts on each wrist. And then I clean the blade and throw it away. I wash up my wrists and bandage them up. I change into sweat pants and a hoodie, I get in bed, and I cry myself to sleep.
