Wunan: The City of Forbidden Works

About three years ago, this account was created to hide the English translation of the very popular LBC Series. We hid it under my assistant's account who willingly took the nickname, Wunan Joung or Wunan.

The term was derived after a city in one of China's northern provinces that is hidden behind mountains and forests. It's a beautiful city that has kept the country's secrets for thousands of years. Thus, the account has earned its name.

Back in 365 B.C., the great Emperor Shi Huang Di has ordered the burning of the books to mark the beginning of his reign. he wanted the future generations to remember him as the person who founded China and not his predecessors. Many books are confiscated including precious documents that could have contained valuable information about China's beautiful past. Those who refuse to obey were burned along with these works.

However, a group of monks took their last resort and fled from the city. They carried with them as many precious books as they can and hid it into the mountains. The works were hidden so carefully, legend has it that they have opened a portal to another realm where they have founded a city of hidden works and treasures.

Two thousand years later... rose the age of beautiful works involving forbidden love among men that their books have brought popularity and controversy into the public. The Law has forbidden these books to be published unlicensed but a team of brave men... [Lucifer: I'd say idiots. 😒] risked everything to share them in public.

The works were accepted by millions of readers. Not to mention, they can read it free of charge but its popularity has reached the authorities and their little stall was taken down. Some of the books are lost... [Chino: We lost all 2 Moons books. 😢 including the wonderful fanfics.] and the others have to be taken down voluntarily before we lose it as well.

It was a devastating day for all of us. We only dreamed about posting one more book to translate but we failed... until we heard about the legend. The little light of hope shone as bright as the sun and our team started conducting researches in search of it.

Until we found the gate...
