Excited laughter and giggles could be heard resonating through a certain bedroom door while lots of talk and buzzing chatter acquainted the laughter. "Oh I cannot wait to meet the prince!" "I heard he has the most beautiful eyes of the continent!" "Oh please, he might be too busy to even talk to you two!" Oh the chatter piled more and more on top of each other as the 6 sisters got ready together for the large ball that was to be held.

"Don't be so pessimistic Leah, surely Prince Viktor will be swooned by me and I will introduce him to you all." The eldest sister, Olivia, teased her younger sisters while she intricately placed pearls in her hair. Her words easily earned herself a few laughs and groans from the girls. "Whatever! I'm just excited to see him, I've heard that he has all of the girls of the Ankline kingdom wrapped around his pinky!" Amelia laughed out as she twirled around in front of a large ornately gold trimmed body mirror while sticking out her pinky finger to all of the sisters. They giggled. "I wouldn't be surprised if that was true, he is a prince after all- a handsome one at the least!" Khloe interjected while tying up Sofia's ribbons to her lace orange dress.

"Oh I bet he is absolutely delightful! A prince with all of those qualities is rare!" Sofia crooned whilst she pulled her hair up with a ribbon. Olivia danced around the room towards Leah as she held a hand out. "Just you wait, soon there will be a gorgeous diamond ring on my finger." The sister jested in which Leah just playfully pushed her aside. "What makes you so confident in such an engagement, you've never met the prince!" Leah laughed out before going back to fixing her lipstick. "Father said he was to be introducing Prince Viktor to us and mother, there's no need to fret."

Olivia looked back over her shoulder at the youngest of the six as she simply brushed her hair out absentmindedly, a small smile on her lips. Effortlessly Florence's words seemed to make all of the princesses gasp and look over at her. "You cannot be serious- REALLY?" "Oh my goodness!" "This is perfect!" Soon squeals and giggles filled up Olivia's large bedroom where they were all in and Florence laughed to herself at their excitement for such an individual. It was an understatement to say that they were ecstatic for Prince Viktor's appearance.

The ballroom had been ever so intricately and carefully decorated down to the smallest crystal in the chandelier. The walls seemed to be even more vibrant of their color that contrasted with the gold. Maybe it was the utter excitement that made the ballroom more alive, but whatever it was, it was absolutely enchanting. Soon, carriages dropped off families of royals who were attending and they were politely led through the large high ceiling entryway into the grand ballroom that was bright with color. It didn't take long for the entire place to be filled up with happy and content talk before the orchestra started to play.

Although the ball had already started, a group of royal sisters seemed to be excitedly running down one of the lavish hallways towards the large ballroom that echoed with music and chatter. They could hear the clattering of wine glasses, the tapping of shoes whilst they gracefully danced, and the sounds of amused laughter. The sisters giggled amongst themselves as they ran before making it through the open doors to the ball. Their eyes glistened in awe at the decorations and how many had shown up to the large gathering. Olivia didn't hesitate to grab onto two of the other sisters' hands to drag them with her into the throng of dancers. And ever so seamlessly they blended in and began to dance, their smiles bright and cheerful.

Of course, it felt as if all of Florence's sisters were on edge for a certain tall prince's arrival. To finally meet him and try to win his heart. Their eyes were wide with interest while their hair was all beautifully done along with their sparkling dresses that seemed to match their personalities. Florence simply just smiled in amusement to herself before she went to go stand and watch the many handsomely dressed royals socialize and dance. Although, she couldn't help but feel a flutter of nervousness build up in her system at the thought of having to be introduced to such a rumored individual that her sisters already adored so much.

"We aren't too tardy are we, darling? Oh I would hate to walk in late to such an event!" Viktor's mother, Leah, softly said in an exasperated tone whilst her lips tugged in a light frown. "I think we will be just fine, love. No need to fret about such a fun occasion." The king assured his wife easily, his hand grasping hers. Viktor's gaze had been outside the window, noticing all the lush flora they had passed along with the sparse sights of deer and other critters.

"Oh and look at that, we have finally made it." The older man chuckled noticing the large architectural building that was surrounded with eye-catching gardens and fountains. As they finally slowed to a stop in front of a pair of grand wooden double doors, Viktor's eyes flickered over everything. A faint smile etched its way upon his sharp features before he waited for his mother and father to get out, so he could step out of the large carriage after them. Soon their transportation was whisked away by the doorsmen to join the other carriages while the night would drone on.

A sudden wave of excitement yet apprehension and nervousness ignited the tall and dashingly handsome prince's nerves while they walked. The soft clicking of his mother's heels and the brushing of his fine suit fabric could be faintly heard while they walked down the long golden hall entryway. Portraits decorated the walls along with large marble sculptures being quite the eye catcher. Multiple sculptures of past royals and such. He noticed a large painting of the current royal family had been placed in a respectful place. His eyes couldn't help but flicker over it, seeing as there were 8 of them, including the King and Queen. Viktor blinked a bit in surprise before the sound of cheerful orchestral music filled his ears along with lots of indistinguishable chatter.

Swiftly some of the royal staff nodded to The Worsencrofts before swinging open the large double doors leading to the ballroom that was absolutely lively with splendor. Softly the chatter quieted down when the family was announced and they were greeted. Viktor's shari hazel eyes quickly skimmed the crowd of royals who either were gleefully dancing or socializing with the help of wine and delicate food. He stayed quiet before directing a few suave smiles to certain individuals he was well acquainted with.

When the large doors had opened, Florence's bright green eyes quickly danced over to the family. Especially the other princesses who stopped mid dance or mid sentence to gaze upon the handsome prince. The very prince whom they had already fawned over before even meeting him. Surely he was what every young bachelorette dreamt of in a man... and surely so! That was deemed correct when Florence heard a quiet gasp of awe come from Princess Amelia when she stopped sipping her wine. Unfortunately she couldn't catch herself a good look of him as before she had time, royals resumed what they had been doing and the orchestra started up again.

Quickly, some of the sisters ran and grouped together as they laughed amongst each other. Surely they had all just gotten swept off their feet from the very sight of the tall prince. Florence could feel her breath quicken in nervousness for a moment as she let her eyes gracefully move around the large ballroom. And there he was... His hues of warm hazel meeting her own pools of emerald. Her heart stopped right then and there.

They always say that when you meet the love of your life, time completely stops. Everything stands still besides the two of you... And that's exactly how it felt when Prince Viktor's eyes met with the blonde woman's. His gaze couldn't leave her as all he could do was stare at her in utter interest and awe, and the same was for Princess Florence. Both of the royals could only watch each other while the rest of the world was standstill and silent. The royals were stuck in place mid dance and no music played whatsoever. All while slowly Florence took a step closer up to the tall dark haired prince. As he did the same. Viktor's shoes softly tapped before he stood in front of the blonde belle, simply gazing down at her. Gingerly, a smile graced the princess's features in a warm greeting.

Oh how he was on the very verge of taking her hand in his to introduce himself and to ask for her name. He wanted to know everything about her, just to clear up the entire enigma this beautiful blonde was to him. The very same could be said for the green eyed belle while her hand gingerly moved up to caress his cheek, her fingers brushing over his cheekbone with tenderness, to take in every little detail of his handsome features. All was still as the two stared in wonder... before Prince Viktor blinked and everything went back to the way it was.

The music was loud again and all the royals were chatting gleefully. Breathlessly he let out a sigh and looked back at where the shrouded mystery princess was... She had been across the entire ballroom where she had been the entire time. His heart felt as if it couldn't handle to be so far from her already. And with that very sensation that settled deep upon him, he truly looked forward to meeting her.
