CHAPTER 9: Heartbeat

Im Nayeon's POV

I was waiting here in the lobby, it was lonely but I'd rather be here then ruin the two's moment. I noticed some magazines on the coffee table right infront of me, perfect to cure my boredom

All of the magazines had BTS in the front page, of course. I read their interview specifically Jin's, I don't know why I'm so interested in this.

"Stalking about me, princess?" Someone said from behind that made me jump from my seat

"I-I wasn't" I half lied. Yes, I did read his interview but I didn't have a choice "I u-uhm bored"

"It's okay I know I'm that attractive for you to be interested in" He said proudly making me want to roll my eyes

"No, you-" I was about to contradict him but he placed a finger on my lips

"Don't worry, I'm interested in you too" Is it him? The first boyfriend I will have

Min Yoongi's POV

I woke up to someone opening the door, I don't remember anyone knowing the passcode, well except for Hyung.

I peeked at who it was and I was relieved to see Dahyun, what is she doing here? I pretended to sleep as she stare at me before grabbing the book and reading commentary. I love her interesting reaction at every one of my silly comment

She got startled when she noticed I was already awake. "O-oh... Uhm s-sorry I didnt want to interrupt you from resting"

"It's fine... What brings you here?" I asked her, visibly curious why she visited me instead of calling or texting

"I wanted to ask you if you wanted to join me, at my first regular check up.." She paused, biting her lips "I-I mean if y-you want to??"

"I would love to!!" I exclaimed "Why didn't you just text me?" I don't want her to get tried for coming all the way here

"You weren't answering my calls" She said making me check my phone, it was on silent and had like 7 missed calls

I scratched the back of my neck "Sorry it was on silent. Shall we go?" She nodded

We went downstairs to see Nayeon and Jin hyung clearly flirting "Unnie!" Dahyun called pulling the two out of their own world

"U-Uhmm.. What is it Dahyun?.." Nayeon asked like she have been caught

"I was about to ask you if you were coming but seems like your busy with something or should I say someone" Dahyun cheekily said making the older blush

"Don't worry I'll take care of your unnie" Jin hyung assured "Now you two go ahead, before you guys get late"

We waved them goodbye before heading our way to the clinic. The ride was pretty quite as she wanted to play on her phone instead of chit-chatting with me

We arrived at the clinic it was full of pregnant ladies, more like a bunch of woman who ate a whole watermelon. I can't imagine the day Dahyun will have that kind of baby bump.

I was observing the place, it was full baby photos. Seriously, who's kids are these? When I looked back at Dahyun, she was shifting on her seat trying to get comfortable while answering something

"What are all the forms for?" I asked out of curiosity

"Everything" She handed the clipboard to me, embarrassed to be sharing her complete medical history "Family medical history, vitamins I take and past illness. My doctor hasn't sent over all my records yet but I think they'd make me fill everything out, anyway"
