"You and I both know you haven't been okay in months"

After a short 10 minute walk, Lydia and JJ were standing in front of an aquarium
"JJ, this is so cute. I'm so excited" Lydia squealed
In the middle of the aquarium, there was a big fish tank that ran from the ground floor, all the way to the top one. Brightly colored fish, swam in schools together, sharks mostly kept to themselves towards the bottom, and their personal favorites: the sea turtles were just hanging out, swimming around.
As they walked around, looking in the different tanks, pointing out crazy types of fishes to each other, JJ was silently relieved that they were both enjoying this. When he was planning the date, he knew he wanted to do something special but he also wanted it to be something that they hadn't done before. Lydia has always loved animals and she harbored a soft spot for sea creatures, thanks to Kie.
"Okay, babe. I have one more surprise but you gotta close your eyes" JJ said to Lydia, pulling her attention away from the tank in front of her
"Is this the part where you kill me by pushing me in one of these tanks" Lydia teased, closing her eyes
"Yup, you're exactly right. You figured out my master plan" JJ chuckled, leading Lydia to the special spot

JJ walked into the room, it was a fish tank but there was a tunnel that you could walk through, making it feel like you're almost in the tank with the animals. It was definitely one of the coolest things JJ had ever seen and he couldn't wait to see Lydia's reaction.
"Okay, on the count of three, you can open your eyes" JJ stopped when they were in the middle of the tunnel
Lydia immediately opened her eyes causing JJ to laugh and mutter, "What is it with you not letting me count to 3"
"JJ this is incredible, oh my god. How did you find out about this place" Lydia said, leaning into his chest so she could look all around
"Pope helped me do some research, come on, let's sit" JJ pulled her over to this spot on the ground, out of people's way, where they could just sit and enjoy the fish swimming around them
As Lydia's eyes scanned the tank, JJ was mostly focused on watching her reactions. He loved the way her smile never left her face, even though he was sure her cheeks hurt from smiling so much. He would occasionally look back at the tank, if Lydia directed his attention to something cool
"JJ look at how big that turtle is. That's what those tiny tiny babies grow into" Lydia pointed at the huge sea turtle, gliding around the tank
After some more gazing, Lydia broke the silence, "Don't you think it's kinda crazy? That all this is just happening under us when we're surfing or on the HMS and we are just oblivious to it"
