ring! ring! ring!
(y/n) jolted up from her lying position as she heard the familiar ringtone emitting from her phone's speakers, turning her head to where her gadget was rested, on her nightstand. she seriously wanted to give speaking a complete sentence a shot. it has been exactly three days ever since their confrontation, yet nothing has changed at all and just the thought about having to survive a singe day without talking to him caused (y/n) to temporarily lose her ability to talk. she only utters a few words out and then stays quiet right after. her replies were as short-– no, even shorter than mineta's height, but she didn't care. all she wanted was for him to apologize, yet she knows very well herself that the infamous bakugou katsuki won't ever lower his pride and apologize over somethong so stupid.
but now, when her phone started to chime, her hopes raised up to her system. she hoped that that it was him who called, but when she saw that it was her pink-skinned friend, she heaved out a heavy sigh, her expectations dropping down rock bottom. once again, she plopped her body on her comfy cushions, arms widely spread as her eyes were just fixated on the ceiling of her dorm room. she wasn't even able to think properly. she wanted to apologize for slapping him, but for her, it didn't felt right to do so. not until he'll apologized first.
her phone toned down, indicating that the caller has ended the call, but the light-quirked female clicked her tounge in annoyance as it rang once more.
growling, she grabbed her phone away from her nightstand and faced the screen.
pinky is asking for a video call！
with no choice left to pick, (y/n) hesitantly answered the call. however, she turned her camera off and rested her phone by her chest as she started to listen to her friend's words.
"babes, i know that you're not doing well as of now, but don't you think it's a bit shallow for the both of you to feel this way to the point you'll neglect your meals?" ashido started off with a worried yet strict tone, making (y/n) click her tounge once again. did she have to deal with this as well?
"look, (y/n)–" "no, you're right. it's too shallow."
ashido felt both happy and sad upon hearing her best friend's voice after such long, tormenting days without her spitting nonsense out of her mouth. the acid-quriked female was happy that she got to hear (y/n)'s sweet tone once again, but sad because she felt how broken (y/n) was by the way she spoke.
"but don't worry about me, mina. i'll be fine in no time, i promise." the (h/c)nette said, forcing herself to say the words she was unsure of and hurriedly ended the call to avoid further discussions. will she ever be okay? or will it worsen due to their situation?
meanwhile in another room, ashido sighed as she gave her friends serious stares one by one, which they reciprocated.
"we gotta think of a solution for this. quick." "yeah. let's do that."
