GUYS!! THIS IS THE PERFECT APP TO BEGIN YOUR KANJI STUDIES.
~ this might be a long review, just so you know~
the app's interface is very easy to use. you can find exactly what you need with ease. They have categories.. very helpful! you click on the set you wish to learn. it gives you a preview of each kanji you will learn, with the kanji and the definition(s). this preview is very helpful, and you can click on the "study" button and learn ONE kanji at a time. for some this might be annoying; but to me its a great feature because too much isn't being piled onto you at once.
It gives stroke order through a gif, pronunciations of both kunyomi and onyomi, stroke amount and even reading examples. but get this— NO ROMAJI!! thats right, its all in hiragana and katakana, which is great; it gets you out of the habit of using romaji to pronounce.
They have over 4000 kanji, which is more than required for fluency.
other features:
-they have the other two "alphabets", or syllabaries. So someone thats an absolute beginner can use this app as well.
-It gives you radicals as well, ordered by the amount of strokes.
-You can favorite any of these and find them again to study them if you wish!!THERE IS NO FLAW WITH THIS APP AS FAR AS I SEE. it is the PERFECT APP for learning japanese.
