Just like the other day, Leah barely had anything to do.


She remembered the advice Max gave her and put on a random Excel sheet on her desktop. She quickly glanced at it and saw a notification from Max displayed on the screen. She picked up her phone and unlocked the message to read his message.

Leah peered at his desk and she realized he was looking at her as well but with a smile. Unamused, she began typing on her phone.

Leah put her phone down and began typing on the random Excel sheet just to make it look like she was working.


Just a couple more hours until lunch, then I get to see Kyle.


Kyle.


The thought of him made Leah's stomach churn. She closed her eyes and shook her head to bring her back to real life. Then she began typing into the Excel sheet as if she actually had something to do.

"So, where is he?" Ria asked as she squeezed some hand sanitizer on her hands.


Kyle reached for the hand sanitizer as she placed it on the table and did the same thing.


"Guys, chill. I don't have any feelings for Max." Leah said, also reaching for the hand sanitizer bottle as Kyle was done with it.


Ria gave a suspicious expression. "That's something someone with feelings for another person would say."
