One like him

Oh, when he smiles from ear to ear,
my morbid thoughts all disappear,
my heavy sighs now content hums,
my heart now skips, not jumps, not runs.

You know, his laugh's a melody,
each chord in perfect harmony.
And when his eyes meet mine...
There's no feeling more divine.

Except the kiss that follows,
erases all my sorrows-
brings back to life what I thought was rotten,
buried, dead and long forgotten.

The kind of man who sees all sides,
not just in it for the ride.
Loves me all, loves what's within,
hope all who want find one like him.
