Cha 4.) Mystic Messanger

I yawned brushing my teeth in the bathroom.
Again Tenko was delayed.
"Tenko, wake up!"
I called for her.
"Mmm.. Already..?"
She mumbled getting up.

I then waved to her leaving the dorm.
I walked out to see Kokichi getting yelled at by Miu.
"I do what I want! You can't control me you fucking rat! Plus, you hurt people too!"
She yelled turning to me and then sped away.

I walked up to Kokichi who was snickering.
"What was that all about?"
I asked confused.
He looked at me surprised as his eyes widened and then he looked away.
"It was nothing.."
He said looking everywhere but at me.
"Hey, I'm sorry for yelling at you yesterday.. I shouldn't have.."
He looked up at me surprised and smiled.
"Nehehehe, I wasn't really sad about that! No need for the apology."
But.. I never said he was sad about it..
"Anyways we should head to class."
Why do I feel like he's just.. Waiting for me every morning?
He's always here.
I mean it's nice.. Well it would be if he wasn't so annoying..

Tenko then ran out.
"What was all of that noise for?"
She asked confused.
"Tenko.."
I stared at her with pity.
"Your uniform is backwards."
I giggled.
"Huh? Oh.."
I heard Kokichi snickering next to me.
She then walked back into our dorm.

"Come on let's go Himiko!"
Kokichi yelled grabbing onto my hand.

"N-Nyeh!?"

"We're gonna be late if you stay here for another twenty minutes!"
He said smiling back at me.
Why do I find him so annoying yet.. So.. Actually.. The other feeling is a feeling I don't even know how to describe.

"You're not wearing your witch hat today?"
He asked confused.
"I forgot it, I have another one in my locker!"
I yelled.
"Of course you do."
He said smiling at me making me feel all weird inside.

We then got into the school walking upstairs and I headed for my locker.
I unlocked it and grabbed my hat.
Then I noticed that Kokichi watched me as I put in the code.
"Don't worry, I won't do anything. It's just always good to be ahead."
He said smirking.
"That better not be a lie.."
I mumbled.

He then walked off with.. Miu following close behind.
Was she listening the whole time!? This couldn't be good.
I walked over and peaked my head around the corner of the hallway.

"Come on, just tell me you fuckin' cumdumpster! I'll leave you alone if you just tell me. It's just a locker combo what's the worst I can do!?"
Miu yelled pinning Kokichi to the wall.
"As a "wise" woman once said and I quote, 'You can't control me you fucking rat!'"
Kokichi's voice suddenly went very serious.
"Now leave me the fuck alone before you cause a seizure with your stupidity."
He said moving her arm and walking towards me.

I then ran for the stair case and past Kokichi, who's eyes widened at the sight of me.
I ran down stairs as I had been embarrassed.
I had assumed that he'd tell her.. So I eavesdropped...

I mean, isn't he the kind of person who'd do that kind of thing?
I slid down the wall and put my hat over my face.
Maybe he isn't so bad after all.
I then heard footsteps.

"Hey there myyyyy little witch!"
He yelled smiling.
I immediately took it all back.
"Ny-Nyeh!?"
The word 'my' caught me by surprise..
And he exaggerated it too..
N-No, don't think that way!
He's just messing with you Himiko!

"What do you want?"
I said keeping my composure.
"Are you proud of me..?"
He said peaking behind the wall.
I just stared at him and then looked the other way embarrassed.

Kokichi sighed and walked over to me patting my head.
"Well, class has.. Pretty much started.. So we should get going."
He said looking the other way walking up the stairs silently.

I was sure that Kokichi's personality definitely crumbled a bit just then.
