I felt exhausted, the fatigue from jumping and spiking so much was finally settling in. Iwa said,

"Hey Yua how's your wrist?"

I noticed she was still wearing her brace. She replied,

"I'm fine."

Matsuwaka said, "I didn't spike it that hard, how'd you hurt it?"

She froze and sighed. "I guess I minus well tell you guys since you're gonna find out anyways,"

She stared at me before taking a deep breath and continuing, "It's an old tennis injury. I just spiked the ball down in a way I shouldn't have. It has permanent damage since I didn't get it treated right away when I first got it."

The whole room went dead silent. I jumped up and said,

"Come on guys we should try and make sure Yua doesn't do anything else to hurt her wrist, right?"

Everyone nodded. She smiled.

"Thanks guys. But I can handle myself."

After an hour or so of all of us talking, we all went to sleep. I almost immediately fell asleep. I woke up to Yua shaking me.

"Oikawa wake up."

I groaned softly and forced my eyes open. It stung hearing my surname rather than my first. I sat up and felt my face lightly burn since her hair was tied up in a messy ponytail. She sighed.

"Don't tell me you're sick..."

She placed her hand on my forehead to check my temperature. Matsuwaka and Hanamaki snickered as Kindaichi sighed, handing them both money. I knew they most likely made a bet again but I didn't care.

She said, "You should get ready Oikawa. Practice will start soon."

I nodded. She sighed. "You'd better not be sick Oikawa... you're acting to weird."

I pouted. "I'm not acting weird..."

She chuckled. "Sure. I'm going to get breakfast ready with the other managers. Don't skip breakfast."

She patted my head as she stood up and walked out of the room. Hanamaki said once she left the room,

"You're getting way to predictable Oikawa."

I rolled my eyes. "Shut it. You're getting money anyways."

"Eh true."

I got up and quickly got ready. Once I arrived in the cafeteria for breakfast, we all ate then went to the gym, Yua was busy helping the managers out with something so we didn't see her during breakfast. At the gym today we had a set against Karasuno. They tried out a synchronized attack and lets just say it didn't work out for them.

We won the set. Next we had a set against Fukurōdani, their ace's spikes were crazy. We were able to get some one touches. The few times we were able to completely block him he tried rebounds. More than half of the time they weren't successful and just got us points but when they were they scored them a point.

Ultimately we lost to them so we did one flying lap around the gym. Once practice was finished, one of the Karasuno managers came in and said,

"Guys! Come to the cafeteria for dinner! We have a surprise after dinner for you guys!"

We all were confused but we all quickly cleaned up and ran to the cafeteria. Once we got there, none of the managers were there but we all grabbed our trays and began to eat.

Iwa said, "I wonder where all the managers are...? I haven't seen Yua at all today except for this morning."

Kindaichi said, "Well they said they have a surprise for us after dinner so maybe they were working on that?"

To be honest it felt weird without Yua shouting at us, or even just being around. Once we all finished dinner a Fukurōdani manager came in and said,

"So, as you all know we managers haven't been around all day today. Well that's because we have been preparing a special treat for you all. Come in girls!"

All of the girls walked in holding plates of sliced watermelon. Everyone's mood changed immediately. The girls placed the plates down on the table and let us all get some. We all socialized as we ate the watermelon. Yua walked over to us and smiled.

"Hey guys, sorry I wasn't around today, I had to go into town with the girls to buy the watermelon."

I smiled. "It's fine Yuyu-chan."

She sighed. "So I heard you guys lost a set to Fukurōdani. It's fine, we can always improve and beat them next set we have. But we have to be careful since Karasuno is working on new moves."

Iwa nodded. "They tried a synchronized attack today. Didn't work so well."

She chuckled. "Yeah, well once they nail that we might be in trouble so we have to make sure we have an ace up our sleeves too, alright?"

Everyone nodded. She smiled.

"Relax for the rest of the night, you guys earned it."

She walked out of the cafeteria, I followed after her. I wanted to ask her the question that's been lingering in my mind, why won't she call me by my first name anymore? As I followed after her she didn't realize I was behind her. She walked outside and sat down on the grass, staring at the stars. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, relaxing.

I didn't want to say anything yet since she looked so peaceful, staring at the stars while holding her knees to her chest. I took a deep breath before sitting down next to her. She softly smiled without even looking at me. She laid her head on my shoulder, I could feel a smile form on my face. We continued to sit in the comfortable silence for a few moments.

"Why won't you call me by my first name?"

She softly replied, "Do you want me to?"

I slowly nodded. She chuckled and smiled.

"Alright Tōru."

I felt my heart warm hearing my first name from her. Her calm, soothing voice. We continued to stare at the stars in comfortable silence. Her, leaning her head on my shoulder as we looked to the sky, enjoying each other's company.
