Between the lightless chambers,
There she was, a holistic woman.
With those deep oceanic eyes,
That once had blazings of amber,
Were now frigid like a mass of ice,
Carrying the solidified glowless raven.

Aching painful wakes were her new tales,
Freedom and joy were feasted by poignant whales,
Dreams passion and the growing thirst,
Were lost in the pyre of assassination,
The sour fluid that pecked while blown,
Installed all these trepid intimidation.

When that curse filled fire was into her skull bone,
No one stood with her over those frosts.
When it fed on her beaming skin as fuel,
Her cravings for life ended the dual.
She lost her gem - the ray of hope,
That one event that reversed all her scope.

If she closed her eyes to see within,
All her faith would get too thin,
Due to that one question that stabbed,
"After all these will we achieve?
Even if done what will we receive,"
Her hard heart had her mind nabbed.

No one could get her any solution,
Even her mirror gave her this caution,
"Don't go out! You'll scare others.
You can't claim nor have any reason.
You aren't ready to face any person.
Neither your father nor your mother."

Days swam fast so did her nights,
Life became merely an air for breathe,
All her gates were locked so were her rights,
She lost it all somewhere deep beneath,
May be she hated light but still,
Some sparks leaked out as a pill.

"You're an enshrine who keeps me alive.
You have honed me from mire to a fire.
You sanctify all of my working members.
Still you hibernate yourself to slumber?"
This voice belonged to her brain,
That attempted to vanquish her strain.

"I still cap my work but merely living.
I can't hold me, nor can I expect any.
Scars and rifts that own me are many.
Healing them looks harder than thriving."
Her heart sobbed while bleeding inside,
Thinking that there's no one on it's side.

"Don't heal them when you don't own,
After all they are weeds that were sown.
Now it's your time for the set back!
Let your wings get the breeze that it lack.
You have me for always from now,
Just this once kindly accept my bow."

Those words of the brain lit her heart,
Still it had some thwacking uncertain part.
"You have my word and I won't let you down.
Come out to engage your long waiting crown.
It's yours and you're having it with me."
The brain pulled it out to set it free.

With no more queries the heart elapsed,
Misting the churning growls to stay lapsed.
It held the brain tight and let out smiles,
That electrified the liquids that ran all over the miles,
So her eyes seeped a drop of its final rain,
She held it in her palms subduing the strain.

It glew like a diamond in the reflected rays,
Now it's shine unveiled the liberating ways.

It's a narrative poem. In this a girl who had faced an acid attack is the protagonist. Here I have dealt with the pain of her heart that wishes only for mere existence. But her brain tries to kindle her to let her live yet again. There occurs a battle within at last the trust on the self wins.
So when the balance between mind (the brain) and the heart is established she starts her journey that was left incomplete.

Great pranams to the women who stood for their self even after the haunting trials of many living monsters. You're all a real inspiration. You're all the living ANGELS and we adore you!

Life can twist and crumple us. But it should never stop us from what we want us to be. To establish an identity, beauty of the inner self is the most important. Rest matters nothing! This is my elixir.

Hope it dawns the insight.
Feel free to drop your thoughts.

With love,
Yaris🔆
