Poppy skipped over to Branch's bunker and let herself in. "Morning beautiful," Branch smiled without turning around, as Poppy hopped off of the elevator. Heat crept onto her cheeks, even though she's heard it a million times, she would never get used to it.
"Morning grumpy pants." She planted a small kiss on his cheek and reached for his hand, interlocking fingers.
"I made your favorite," Branch gestured over to the plates set out of the table. Looking over, Poppy smelled the fresh warm pancake that awaited for her. She gave his hands a quick squeeze before jumping over to the table.
Face full of pancakes, Poppy smiled. "Yum!" She swallowed a bite from her fork.
Branch looked up and smiled, "I'm glad you like it." Poppy finished her pancakes and patted her now full tummy. Branch smiled, collected the plates, and putting them in the sink.
Poppy stood up and grabbed Branch's hand, "Thank you for breakfast"
Branch kissed her, "Anything for you, my love"
