Obanai looked at me expectantly. I didn't know what to say, or what he wanted me to say. So I just stared into his mystifying eyes. He stared back, his snake like eyes never straying from mine. It was like a staring contest, and neither of us was going to back down.
Suddenly, someone cleared their throat from behind us. I jumped back in surprise. "Now now, If you don't mind, we'd like to eat dinner." The girl who I remembered earlier introduced herself as Shinobu said.
"O-oh right!" I quickly stuttered. Get a grip of yourself, (Y/N). I thought.
Blushing furiously, I leapt to the door, hoping to escape. That was, until Obanai grabbed my hand.
"(Y/N)(L/N)." He said in a domineering tone.
I let out a surprised squeak. Not the best way to play it cool, but you know what, the tension in this room was only increasing by the seconds.
He leaned closer, his soft lips almost brushed the tips of my left ear.
"I'd like you to be my apprentice."
