From Crush to Prince (Nozel x Reader)

Ugh what happened? You thought as you slowly opened your eyes. You saw that you were inside someone's home, surrounded by women and children. You steadily sat up, wincing in pain as your head suddenly started to hurt.

"Careful." The woman aiding you said, "That was a hard fall that we just saw."

Then you remembered what happened.

"Nozel!" You looked around in panic, "Fuegoleon!"

From the people around you, you learned that the captains were taken and kept hostage by the enemy. Apparently the enemy were camped outside of the village. If the village did not comply to the enemy's orders, their village would be destroyed. You were enraged. Your pain was long forgotten. Nozel and the others must have been badly injured from that blast. I need to get them before the enemy hurts them even more. You thought.

Another idea hit you. The enemy weren't ordinary gang members. These bad guys easily took out the Magic Knights before and now they got the captains. What did they want? They were smart though. They probably figured out that Julius would send out his captains to this village to defeat them. Knowing that the captains wouldn't be able to put up a fight on anti-magic land, the enemy took advantage and attacked. You didn't care about how or if they knew about anti-magic land, you were just focused on how to get your captains back.

"I need to go rescue my friends." You said as you carefully got out of the bed.

"Miss, you can't go out there. It is far too dangerous." The woman said.

"Do not worry about that." You said, "Let me handle the part where I get my friends back. But I do need everyone's help. Will you all be willing to provide me assistance?"

They all looked at each other and started to mumble, before hesitantly reaching to an agreement.

"Good. First, I need a horse and some weapons." You demanded as you got ready to go on your rescue mission.

"Got it." A teenage boy said as he ran out.

"Next, I need all of you on stand by. They can't use magic here, so they are most likely injured from the blast and I need you all to be prepared to heal them." You said sternly. "Any questions?"

Everyone shook their heads.

"Excellent." You said as you finished getting ready, "I am indebted to you all. Thank you for lending me a hand."

You turned and headed out. My dear captains, please be okay. Nozel my love, I haven't even confessed to you yet so please be alright.

You were on your horse as it galloped towards an abandoned barn house. You busted through the doors and saw a horrific scene. The four captains were chained and badly wounded. Cuts and blood smeared all over their bodies. You couldn't even fathom the pain they were enduring.

The captains weakly looked up and saw you draw out your weapon. Next to the hurt captains were a group of men, who turned to see who had broken in. They saw that you had your weapon out, so they drew theirs out too.

"Who are you?" One of the men asked gruffly.

"I should be asking you the same thing." You replied as you charged towards them, "But for now, I'll just beat you and your men's ass, then ask questions later."

The beaten up captains watched in amazement as you fought hard, despite being outnumbered.

"Y/N, get out of here! They have bombs!" William weakly shouted.

"And leave you four here? I'm afraid I can't do that." You said with a smirk as you round house kicked the dude that just tried to kill you.

Instinctively you took out your scroll, surprising the enemy that you were able to use magic. You cloned yourself and the horse. You then commanded your clones to get the captains on the horses and safely take them back to the village to be healed while you bought them time by holding the enemy back.

Yami, William, and Fuegoleon were able to escape. Your clone helped Nozel get on the horse just as you were about to get on yours when the last bad guy, who had a bomb vest on, held you back.

"You ain't goin' nowhere missy." The enemy snarled, "I'm gonna blow all of us here together."

"Quickly! Get the captain out of here!" You commanded your clone.

"No! I command you to bring Y/N!" Nozel feebly ordered your clone.

"I'm sorry, but I was ordered to take you back safely." Your clone said as she restrained Nozel so he couldn't escape.

Nozel fought the clone and got off the horse. He limped towards you as you struggled to get free from the enemy's grasp. After head butting the dude down, you grabbed Nozel's arm and dragged him towards the horse. In the corner of your eye, you saw the enemy attempt to get up again.

"Nozel, get out of here! We don't have enough time!" You instructed as you headed back to the dude to knock him out.

"You are coming with me." Nozel said as he grabbed your wrist and pulled you close to him.

"I have to diffuse the bomb!" You raised your voice, "I'll be right behind you I promise, now go!"

"I am staying by your side then." Nozel said stubbornly.

Your heart couldn't take it anymore. You cupped Nozel's cheeks and kissed him. Nozel didn't back away as he deepened the kiss by hugging your body close to him. It was something the both of you were craving. You broke the kiss as you remembered that you had a bomb to take care of.

"I love you, Nozel." You whispered, looking into his hypnotic purple eyes. You feared that it might be your last time seeing his attractive face. Nozel couldn't form words as he was high on the taste of your lips and couldn't believe that you two just shared a kiss. You looked up and nodded at your clone.

Your clone quickly tied Nozel with a rope and put him on the horse. Meanwhile, the enemy had once again held onto you tightly.

"No! Stop this at once!" Nozel demanded, with a hint of desperation. "Y/N! You promised to follow!"

"Coming!" You yelled as you maneuvered away around and pushed the guy as far back as possible, buying yourself time to escape. Your horse had run off so you ran towards the barn doors.

The bomb went off

with you inside.

Nozel looked past your clone's shoulder and did not see you come out.

"No." Nozel whispered as he witnessed the barn burn down.
