Spectra

~Sky's POV~

After the squids had left and we found out Mitch was across from us, we started discussing how we got here.

M- Mitch S- Sky (I'm having Seto be mute, for now I'm just to lazy to add him in the conversation. Sorry.)

M "The last thing I remembered was us in the Sky base then going to help fight off the squids. Then I was here."

S "Yeah me too, hmm that still doesn't explain how we got here. You got anything Seto?"

Seto snapped out of his train of thought and glared at me through the darkness. Then abruptly turned and faced the cell next to Mitch.

As I turned to look where Seto was looking when I saw a glint of light come from the cell. I then said,

"Hey Mitch is there something in that cell next to you?"

"Umm I don't know I hadn't checked, I figured if there was then I would here it."

"Well can you check, Seto looks nervous."

"Fine." Mitch turned and looked into the cell next to him.

~Mitch's POV~

As I stared into the darkness my eyes started adjusting and I began to see the outline of a human body, but it didn't look normal. I tried getting its attention. It seemed almost dead, for its chest wasn't rising and falling to breathe, but I could hear a slight humming coming from it. It was creepy. I called back and told them what I saw.

Sky replied, "Well poke it or something."

"Are you nuts I don't want to lose an arm or something!"

"Well then throw something at it."

I looked around my cell until I found a few rocks in the corner. I picked them up and made my way back to where the two cells connected. I sat down as to have a steadier aim then I threw one, missing. I grabbed another rock and threw it again, also missing. Ugh why can't I hit such a big target! Ok I'll try one more time. I picked up another rock, took a deep breath and threw it straight at its chest, but to my surprise the rock didn't thump like hitting soft flesh. It pinged as if bouncing off... metal?

Then there was a sound like a generator powering up or something of the sort. I jumped back along with Sky, while Seto just stood there both intrigued and confused. Then a rusty robotic computer voice said,

"System Reboot Successful. Power Levels at 73% Primary Function Engaged: Blend in."

It went quiet for a little before another voice came from the cell but it sounded... like a normal teenage boys voice, not robotic at all and he said,

"Greetings, my name is SpecteraRedx."

I sat there in shock, slowly turning to Sky and Seto. Sky was sitting in the far corner of his cell looking shocked as well. As for Seto he seemed to be deep in thought, probably trying to find a logical explanation for what just happened. I then looked back at the boy in the cell next to me only to find him glowing?!? At least now I could get a good look at him, but some how that just lead to more questions. He's not even human, or not anymore at least. His body is covered from head to toe in black metal armor with a red visor, a deep red bulky jaw, and he had large gaps in his armour, that looked like they were forced off or cut open, where you could see wires going throughout his whole body carrying a glowing red liquid through them.

I then looked back at my friends only to see Sky looking terrified and Seto looking pleadingly at me. As if asking me to communicate with him, I nodded to Seto and looked back at the robotic boy next to me and said,

"Umm, Hi my name is Mitch."

He seemed to glow a little brighter as if happy to be acknowledged before continuing,

"Nice to meet you M-M-Mitch-ptzz Mitch can I ask of your-r-r service?"

His voice kept becoming staticky and glitchy.

"What for?"

"The people here ha-have damaged some of my components awhi-i-ile back, forcing me to shut down all systems. No-No-No telling what dama~ptzz~ -ile I was out."

I could barely understand what he was trying to say, but I think I got it. He needs help to repair himself especially now that I was paying more attention I could see rust around his joints and jaw. I looked over at Sky and Seto to see what they thought, Sky still looked nervous but Seto seemed eager to help. Sky then said,

"Umm, Mitch would you like to introduce us to your new friend?"

I had nearly forgot to introduce them.

"Oh yeah, sorry. Well Sky, Seto this is SpecteraRedx."

Seto waved happily and Sky nervously waved back. Spectera waved back, but the rust around his joints caused them to squeak and moan.

"Ok. Spectera that is Sky in the glasses with the amulet, and that's Seto in the robes and cape, he doesn't talk much."

Seto sent me an angry glare, but I just ignored it, turning to Sky I said,

"Are you going to help Spectera here put himself together again or am I doing it myself?"

Sky gave me an annoyed look replying,

"How are we supposed to help him when we can't help ourselves!"

I never actually thought about that, we are still prisoners of the squids. I was about to answer when we heard a scream come from far down the corridor past the iron door. Sky then started panicking and shouted,

"That sounded like Ty!"

(Wow this chapter was way longer than I thought it would be, but I had so many ideas and didn't want to forget them so I just made a long chapter. I feel accomplished if your wondering who SpecteraRedx is that is my Minecraft character and of course I had to leave it on a cliffhanger. Hehe. Well I hoped you enjoyed this extra long chapter.
