his english has gotten so much better in these past couple of years which leads me to my next question and that's how the hell do y'all be learning languages with different characters? like I imagine for rui it was hard because of the different characters in english but i'm learning korean right now and whew chile. it's not as hard as I thought it would be but it's hard to read words with stacked characters like 고양이 (aka one of the only words i can spell sadly & which means cat if anyone cares) that is pronounced as co-yang-i but I have so much trouble with reading the characters sometimes so I can only imagine how much work it took for rui to learn english
