--------------------------------------------Serena's pov

Serena traveled to Brooklyn to see Dan. Although this was completely against Blair's wishes, Serena thought it was best to ask for help, and who would be better help than her intelligent boyfriend. She knocked on the rusty door of the Humphrey house. She looked at her Michael Kors watch, it was 6:05. Rufus opened the door.

"Hello Serena. Dan is in his room," Rufus said.

She walked to Dan's room trying to hold back her tears. Unfortunately, she broke down crying.

"Serena, are you okay," Dan quickly touched her rosy red cheek to comfort her.

"Dan, Blair's pregnant," Serena said quietly, "I-I don't know what to do. She won't tell Chuck or Nate and I'm just really concerned about her."

"Oh my gosh, when did this happen?" Dan said with a surprised look on his face.

"Do you mean when the baby was conceived or..." Serena said trying to lighten the mood a bit.

"Oh God no! I meant when did she tell you?" Dan said.

"I was there when she took the test, about an hour ago." Serena replied.

"Who is the father?" Dan curiously asked.

"We don't know. It could be Nate or Chuck. Blair refuses to tell them anything. I'm the only one who knows, besides you of course," Serena replied.

Dan was silent.

After a minute Serena finally spoke, "I know this is a lot to ask but can you talk to her? I know that she's not your favorite person but I think it would be good for her to get a male's point of view."

"Serena, you do realize that Blair hates me. Besides, that would get you into trouble also because you weren't supposed to tell anyone. Do you really think that's the best idea?" Dan replied.

"Well she won't listen to me, you might as well give it a shot. I don't care if she gets mad at me, we will make up eventually. I mean I did sleep with her boyfriend and we are still best friends." Serena said.

"Fine, if you insist. But if she gets mad at you it is not my fault." Dan said.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you," Serena said with a beautiful smile on her face. She hugged him and Dan smiled a little.

"Is it okay if I stay over tonight? I really don't want to see Chuck, I'm scared that I might accidentally tell him," Serena asked.

"Serena, it is a Saturday night. We all no that Chuck is out partying and won't be back until 5 am," Dan said.

"Can I still stay over?" Serena asked.

"Okay," Dan replied, "Just let me ask my dad."

About three minutes later, Dan entered his room.

"Well, it took a bit of convincing but you can stay," Dan said, "I just told my dad that you were had a rough day and wanted to talk to someone."

"Thank you Dan," Serena smiled once again. Her smile could melt chocolate.

At about six in the morning, Serena woke up. Dan was still asleep. He looked so adorable when he was sleeping. Serena thought that she was lucky to have him. He was a good guy, unlike the Upper East Side boys who cheat on their girlfriends and sleep with a new person every week. She left a note for him on his desk. The note stated:
"Can you please meet up with Blair today? I put her phone number in your phone. Thank you.
-xoxo Serena <3

After placing the note on his desk, she left before he woke up. She did not want to disturb him (plus she thought that he would be more likely to follow her directions if she wrote it down on a piece of paper for him.) She quietly snuck out of Dan's room. Then she spotted Rufus. Rufus grinned at the sight of her.

"Hey Serena. Heading out so soon?" Rufus asked.

"Yeah, I have things to take care of. If Dan asks, just tell him to consider what I'm asking of him," Serena said.

"I will keep that it mind. Have a good day Serena," Rufus replied.

"Thanks. You too," Serena said.
