A Warm Touch

A night of melancholy broke in her heart

The dark clouds hovered in a complete hush.

As the rain poured, down in the shingles

Her heart ached for the fresh lush.

Pitter-Patter flooded her ears,

And the pain hankered her spirits.

The starry sphere stared at her face

And her agony rivets.

Then a warm touch splashed out gleams of desire,

A genial love rolled up in her misery.

She embraced the lost touch,

Which ceased her long journey.
