You check the time on your phone and see that it's 10 minutes before you have to present an award with Seokjin from BTS. A couple of weeks ago, your manager told you that you were booked to present the Song of the Year award at the Melon Music Awards. Only yesterday were you told that you'd be doing it with Jin.
You get up from your seat and tell the members of your group that you're heading backstage and that you'd see them soon. You sneak your way past the cameras, trying to not block anyone's view of the BLACKPINK performance. You make your way to where you need to be backstage, and you see Jin waiting in a chair.
"Hey, you must be Y/N," Jin smiles. You didn't think he even knew your name.
"Yes, I am."
"It's nice to meet you."
"Thank you. It's nice to meet you too."
BLACKPINK's performance ends, and you're handed a notecard by a staff worker. You two go out on stage and say your lines, presenting the winner with their trophy and walking backstage again.
"You're so confident on stage, Y/N," Jin compliments.
"Oh. Thank you, Seokjin."
"You're welcome. And could I maybe get your phone number? I'd like to talk to you again after this."
"Of course!"
You trade numbers and walk back to your seats in the audience. Your phone chimes, and you see that Jin has already texted me. You blush and immediately text him back.
