Part 6

Hinata pov (past)

Mommy and daddy is fighting again... I'm hiding in the closet it's so dark a-and scary I'm so cold

Tears dropped down my face

I-I hate it here! I hate everything w-why can't they ever shut up! I-I want it a-all to just stop....

My thought consuming me as a idea came into my mind opening the closet door I could hear mom and dad more clearly which only made me worse

As I walked over to the window and opened it conveniently a ladder was already there due to someone had cleaned the window a few hours ago.

Climbing down it I feel scared terrified of falling
My foot slips....and I fall down onto the ground

Luckily I had already been on the last step!

Running over to the gate I see a dark haired boy
"H-HEY!"

"Yes?"

"Can you please help me get out I can't open the gate....?"

"Fine-"

"THANK YOU SO MUCH YOUR AMAZING!!"

"S-shut up boke!"

Feeling a joyful smile across my face i watch as the boy climbed over the wall. But even as joyful as I am I'm still worried of his safety he's really high up...

"Take my hand and I'll pull you up." The boy said as he extended his hand to me

Jumping up I couldn't reach "ugh why do you have to be so short tangerine." The boy had said as he made his best effort so I did mine running back and jumping up our hand met each other

And before I knew it I was at the top looking down I became scared "go ahead jump." The boy said

I shook my head as I looked down and with no warning at all he had picked me up a-and it was bridle style I felt a faint pink brush my face

Jumping down I grabbed onto his shirt placing me head onto his chest. I couldn't see form when we jumped since my eyes had been closed

He sat me down "What's your name?" I asked as my head had tilted from wonder

"Kageyama, Tobio Kageyama....yours?"

"I'm Shōyō hinata! It's nice to meet you Kageyama oh...do you want me to buy you some ice cream for your trouble?"

"N-no that's fi-"

"I insist" I said as I half his hand with mine dragging him all the way to an ice cream shop. "What kind?"

"Vanilla..."

"Plain! Anyways sir could I please have a vanilla and strawberry ice cream cones?"

"Hah- with what money kid!" The ice cream man had said as he chuckled to him self

This made me angry I pull out my family's pin that had a crow Engraved into it which was the symbol of the kingdom.

"C-coming right up!" The man had said practically screaming it as he rushed off

"Hey shortie how did you do that?" The boy, Kageyama had said So I showed him the pen

"Pretty cool huh" a smile across my face

"He-here  my highness enjoy" the man had said as I laid just enough money for the ice cream...I mean If would have left a tip if he hadn't gotten me angry

Handing Kageyama his 'BAsIc' vinailla ice cream I tug on his free had as I pulled his out into a field that had a cliff over the water as the sun set I sat down licking my ice cream.

"You almost made me drop my ice cream you boke!"

"O-oh sorry Kageyama- you could of had mine if you did though!"

"I-I wouldn't want your stupid ice cream!"

Giggling I continued eating the ice cream

As the moon risen higher in the sky I could feel Kageyama because more...distant, more sad, more quiet.

As he stood up I did the same

"I need to go."

Tear flew down from my eyes h-he can't go he's my first friend....

As he turned I grabbed his hand

"Listen I-!"

"K-Kageyama...."

His head turned back to face me

"P-promise me you will nod forget me at least...."

A sigh is let between the dark haired boys pink lips

"Hinata the human tangiren ...I won't ever forget you."

That was enough for me and if he remembers me I'll probably find him later in life...right?!

I pulled him into a tight hug

"Thank you...."
I say as I let go his smile lighting up the whole day a bit more as he ran off into the dark....

I guess I need to go home

Walking back to the palace I see one of the butlers holding a lantern and a bunch of knights around the castle

"My prince!" I hear the butler shout as he ran to me kneeling down "are you okay, did anyone hurt you, where did you go!?!"

"I-I'm fine, and no and well I met a friend..."

The butler sighed as he took my hand leading me into the palace "your know your lucky your father didn't notice you where gone, now go get you some dinner."

I laugh mentally of course that the butler would even think my dad would notice me as I walk down the halls.
