IN WHICH seven troubled teens are forcibly sent to the local church's religious re-education camp outside of their hometown of westenburg, but things get out of hand one night, and one of them dies.

IN WHICH six teens return to school two months later and despite how hard they try to go their separate ways, to fit into their own cliques, they find themselves drawn together once more when it seems that the death of their fellow camper has followed them back to town.

i. this story depicts potentially graphic themes involving blood, gore, murder, violence, and a number of other topics. if you are sensitive to such things, discretion is advised when applying for your character(s) to play a role in this fic and/or when reading.

ii. i recommend being diverse with your character(s). poc, lgbt, and males are recommended, but not required!

iii. if your character is chosen, it's vital to the story that you're active because writers lose motivation pretty quickly when they aren't receiving recognition for their work! (:

iv. try to use faceclaims that are younger than thirty. these are high school kids. they do not need gifs, just a place where i can access enough pictures/icons of them. if you're using a site model or a tiktoker for your faceclaim, it would help greatly if you could mention their instagram or a site where i can access quality pictures of them!

v. for your character's personality and backstory, i'd prefer if you wrote them out in detailed sentences. i don't care how long your application ends up being, and i genuinely love detail so please avoid writing short answers like "funny, athletic, caring".

vi. to guarantee that you're actually reading the rules, the password for your application is your favorite horror film/show.

vii. you're limited to submitting up to four applications total, but please make them different than the previous one(s) you ended up submitting. note that i will most likely only accept 1-2 of your applications, but you will have a higher chance of being accepted if you submit more than once.

viii. when putting down a stereotype for your character, try to avoid using a personality trait for them. examples of what not to use: the hothead, the caring, the meanie. try to go for some kind of clique-like title. examples of what to use: the bully, the goody two-shoes, the princess. this isn't because i'm picky, but it's because you can mention that they're caring or athletic or short-tempered in their personality. i want to know what clique they'd be associated with or how they're generally perceived by others.
