* After School *

Me and Aisha were going out of school cos school has closed already that's when we saw our set mates under the tree outside as we got there we now heard the gist

"Madoo that girl is hot" said someone in the group

Gold went over to Rofiat
" babe how far what's happening" asks Gold

" it's Ife ooooo that girl ehn she killed it" Answered Rofiat

" I don't get na explain" whined Gold

" Gold see me I'm going home o" shouted Aisha

"mama calm down abeg, Rofiat talk jare" said Gold

"Ife got b parallel" said Rofiat

"Madoo b parallel... Wow that's crazy awesome" said Gold

"okay na tomorrow" said Gold while running over to Aisha

"bye" waved Rofiat while passing through the opposite direction towards Underbridge that was the center of activities after school

Teachers always complained about students waiting there instead of going home but I can't blame them because that place had different things abou it from the spiced up pomo sold there to the stickmeat and ice cream

Most students even spent their
T. P(transport fare) to buy all these goodies

Sometimes I even wish that my house is in that direction so that I can catch small Gist too

GOLD'S POV

Wow I'm finally done with junior school, I stay across the school so I have to walk down

Then I see my mom busy with her phone when I come back

"Mummy good afternoon" I greet her

"ah Bibire how are you" she says calling me by my yoruba name

"I'm fine o" I reply her

" how was school today" she asks me

"it was fine, ehen mummy has Tishe and Rophee not come back from school yet" I ask her about my two Junior sisters

And she tells me that they're not back from school I answer her "okay"

I threw my bag on the chair and went into the room men I was super tired I removed my Pinanfor and my shirt then onto my socks and shoes

I went to have my bath and I put on a a little skirt and top

When I got to the sitting room my two sisters were already back from school I went to meet them and greet them

"mummy what are we eating this afternoon o me I'm hungry" whined my baby sis Rophee

"is it even true sef me too I'm hungry" said Tishe

" Oya Bibire go to the kitchen there is concoction in the pot warm it for you and your sisters and boil three eggs to it" Said my mom she was already getting ready to got to church for Bible study

"okay ma" I said

"and when you guys are done come and meet me in church se ti gbo (have you heard)" said mom before finally walking out

After my sister's had freshened up I served them their food

And took mine and as usual anytime we're eating I always put a novel beside me to read cos it just adds up... Today the title of the novel I was reading was Crime scene at Cardwell ranch I actually borrowed it from one of my small aunties

I loved books that deals with crime cos if there's crime there's a case to solve and if there's a case to solve there's law involved and I wanted to be a Lawyer I wanna be a SAN actually ( Senior Advocate of Nigeria) when I was done eating I closed my book and kept it on the table

"big sis are we not going to church again" asked Tishe

"I don't think so o" I answered them

"wo you guys should just go and sleep jare" I said waving her off

Some moments later my baby sis Rophee comes to meet me and ask me if she can go outside to play I answer her and she runs out happily

Later that day after dinner we are all sprawled on the couch watching TV.... my sisters were watching
Henry Danger while I continued to read my novel

Then we heard a car and I guessed it was my dad's own after we greeted him and after he was settled and freshened up o went to his room and talked to him about our upcoming excursion in school

Like I explained how epic it was gonna be we were gonna visit different places and it was one week and we'll be sleeping in an hotel....... I shaa gave him all the juicy details and told him that it was just 20,000 twenty thousand naira pere.... He told me that he'll get back to me

And knowing my dad with work and all I knew he was gonna forget so I just had to keep reminding him because it was in one months time
