Sayna's POV
"This is pathetic, this is weird, this is too girly" Vidya was throwing my each and every dress on my bed calling it something disgracing and I was getting offended more and more. It's my collection! It should be my choice right?
"Vidya I AM a girl! In case you didn't notice, I would have girly things only."
I deadpanned at her.She just gave me a look and continued rammaging through my closet.
I picked up my Anatomy book and started studying. Let her dissect my closet all she wants.
"There is nothing! Fucking NOTHING in your closet for freshers Sayna!" She said exasperated, with both her hands on her hips. "We all are wearing one piece dresses. And you don't have anything that will be suitable for freshers!" She said like it was some world endangering issue.
I kept my book aside and looked at her. "I have the grossest legs! I cannot wear a one piece. It will be torture for everybody's eyes." I said explaining my situation.
"Shut up. We all are going to the mall today. Come with us. We will choose something for you too." She said excitedly.
Quite honestly I was exited too for this freshers. I will get to dance! Yayyy!
But my head starts killing me if I do too much movements. Hopefully it will be ok tomorrow on freshers.
"Alright fine, but nothing too exposed, I like to keep things to imagination you know!" I winked at her.
She just laughed shaking her head.
"Hmmm..." Hetal contemplated the millionth dress I tried. I was done with it now! The girls chose their dresses in minutes. And here I am, trying...I don't know... Hundredth dress, for almost an hour now. I was tired. Changing clothes is the most tiring work in the world for me.
"Please say yes to the dress!" I begged folding my hands. "Please, mercy god mercy!" I was fake crying now!
All of them giggled at my act. I swirled and bowed, giving them flying kisses, in my baby pink knee length skater dress with simple neckline and long sleeves. It was actually cute. I liked the way it flared from my waist down. Like I said leave them to imagination!
I knew it was too modest. But I loved that about it. I don't want to be the centre of attraction there. There are other girls for that. I am more of melt into the crowd type. I hate spotlights.
(On freshers night)
We had only 1 hour to leave. I was ready and waiting for them in my room. My second CT was also normal. The headache also reduced to minimal. I replaced the wraparound with a small band-aid on my wound. Because let's face it, it was freshers! And we were definitely going to click pictures! So I matched my band-aid colour with my dress, yup I was that big of a dork.
I kept my hair down. Well they were my best feature. And after an hour of convincing from Hetal, I finally agreed on putting some glittery eyeshadow and shiny pink lip gloss. The girl could eat your brain if you don't give in.
