wow ok this is getting a lot of reads all of a sudden which is rlly wack for me cause the writing in this rlly does suck and i am mostly just writing this for comfort and shit, but uhhhhhhh tysm to everyone reading this! i know this is moving kinda slow and there are a lot of cringey parts of this story, so thanks for like- baring with me in that respect. anyways, school is starting up pretty soon for me, so updates are gonna be a bit slower from here on out so that i can focus on school. anyways, hope you all enjoy this chapter!
You wake up to the sun shining through the window and hitting you right in the face. The bright light makes your eyes burn and your headache feel worse. You groan, rolling over to face the other side, hiding your face in the covers. Hangovers were the worst. Your head hurts, you're starving but still haven't an appetite, you're exhausted for the whole day, and not to mention the nausea that you'd get from them. Once again, you had no memory of the events from the night before, you had no clue as to how much of what you drank, what you said while you were intoxicated, or how you got home. One thing you do remember, however, was when you woke up in the middle of the night and basically upchucked your whole stomach. And, of course, Hawks being there to watch the whole thing. The thought of him having to help you with that kinda thing for a second time made you feel bad, regardless, there wasn't really anything you could do about it now.
"Good morning baby bird~" That familiar voice calls from the doorway. You look up from under the covers to see Hawks leaning against the archway, a hand in his pocket and the other carrying a glass of water. He approaches you, placing the glass down on the table next to the bed. "It's time to get up, little bird." He says with a smile, taking the covers off from over you. Instinctively, you try and grab at the blankets to pull them back over you, but that attempt was to no avail when Hawks sits you upright, forcing you to have to get up. You let out a fussy groan before taking the glass of water and chugging it down. "Get dressed, we gotta get going soon." He says, starting to leave the room. "Where are we going?" You ask, rubbing your eyes to get your vision cleared up. "Ah, right. Some of my hero friends wanted to hangout today, since we have the day off. And I thought that you should come with, maybe make some more friends." Hawks says. You just nod, watching as he leaves the room, closing the door behind him.
this was a really short chapter, but i'll make the next one longer. i just don't have the time to write a rlly long chapter like i normally do atm. i'll make up for it next time tho!
