**in their room
Jughead*lays Betty in their bed*
Betty*rolls over and almost rolls of the bed*
Jughead*catches her* woah I got you Betty
Betty*sleepily* my head hurts
Jughead: yeah that's what happens when you drink like a monster
Betty*groans*
Jughead: I wanted to talk you to about something but you need to sleep
Betty: okay I love you *reaches for him*
Jughead*leans in and kisses her head* I love you too betts
Betty*falls asleep*
Jughead*sneaks out of their room*

**in the hallway
Toni: where are you going?
Jughead: I just have to run somewhere real quick
Toni: you seem suspicious
Jughead: uh okay, I gotta go *runs off*
Toni: well that was weird *goes into their room*
Oh bettys asleep *walks downstairs and turns on tv*

**in the trailer park
Jughead*takes a deep breath* okay here we go *knocks on door*
Fp*opens it* Boy what are you doing here? *hugs him*
Jughead: I-I need to look in my old room
Fp*confused* okay
Jughead*moves past him and runs to his room* aah where did I put it? *tears apart his room*
Fp: boy what are you doing?
Jughead: like a really long time ago I had a box, small one. I need it
Fp: when was the last time you remember having it?
Jughead: well it was a while ago, probably when I was still with *realizes where it it* I got to go. Thanks dad *runs out of the trailer*
Fp: wait Jughead *jughead stops and looks at him* can we got to lunch sometime?
Jughead: sounds great dad *gets on his motorcycle and rides off*

**at the bunker
Jughead*runs in and finds their serpent jackets* yes!
*looks inside his pocket and finds the box* awesome *looks at the time* shit it's almost like 6am bettys probably awake already

**meanwhile
Betty*wakes up* Jug? *gets up* where is he?

**back at the house
Jughead*runs in*
Betty*sees him and runs downstairs*
Jughead*kisses her*
Betty: oh my god jug you scared me *hugs him*
Jughead: I had to find something
Betty: are those our serpent jackets?
Jughead: yep*puts it around her shoulder* still looks great
Betty*giggles* I love you Juggie *rest her head on his shoulder* and I don't want to lose you ever again
Jughead*wraps his arms around her* you won't
Betty: promise?
Jughead: here's what I promise. Betts I promise to love you and make you the happiest girl ever. You deserve the world and I will never stop until that happens so *gets down on one knee* will you marry me betty cooper?
Betty*starts crying happy tears and pulls him up* yes Juggie, 100 times yes *puts the ring on*
Jughead*kisses her and wraps his arms around her waist*
Betty*pulls back and smiles* your the best *hugs him*
Jughead*picks her up and takes her upstairs*

**in their room again
Betty*sits on the bed* what time did we get home last night?
Jughead*sits down and puts his beanie on her* like 3 or 4am
Betty*grabs her head and winces in pain*
Jughead: sorry, I-
Betty*interrupts him with a kiss*
Jughead: what was that for?
Betty: well I had to stop you from rambling somehow
Jughead*kisses her cheek* your funny
Betty*hops up* I know *walks into the bathroom*
Jughead: hey come back here
Betty: I have to take a shower Jug
Jughead: sounds like a plan *smirks*
Betty: Just me silly
Jughead*makes a pouty face*
Betty: your crazy *gets in*
Jughead: I see how it is
Betty*laughs*

**an hour later
Betty*exits the bathroom* Jughead Jones *covers herself*
Jughead: what?
Betty: give me back my towel
Jughead: I don't have it
Betty*walks over and grabs a blanket* Forthye Pendleton Jones
Jughead: fine but you have to come get it * holds it up*
Betty: Jug *tries to get it*
Jughead*smiles*
Betty*stops and kisses him*
Jughead*kisses her back and puts his arms around her*
Betty*grabs the towel* ha *runs into the bathroom*
Jughead: dang it, your such a tease cooper
Betty*giggles and gets dressed* I'm done now
Jughead: oh I forgot to tell you, I'm having lunch with my dad
Betty: Can I come too?
Jughead: of course *pulls her close* I love you *kisses her*

**at pops
*Jughead and Betty walk in
Fp: Hey boy, oh betty
Betty: hi Mr.Jones longtime
Fp: sure has Betty
Jughead: Dad me and Betty are getting married *smiles*
Fp: finally, I thought you would never ask boy
Betty*smiles and rest her head on Jughead shoulder*
Fp: so when is the wedding?
Betty: we don't know yet
Jughead: I know that Betty's always wanted a spring wedding
Betty: aww jug *kisses him*
Fp: y'all are too cute
