As if my life struggles weren't enough I had woken up to such heart wrenching news concerning my dear friend Hafsat who has run away from home following her upcoming wedding with her cousin Mahmoud who has had a crush on her for more than forever. Honestly I can't really figure out why she would do that and right now I can't tell where exactly she could be. I told her mother Hajia leenat who is currently looking very devastated with tears in her eyes .her elder brothers Hassan and hafiz have been looking for her since morning and it's almost 12 in the afternoon but still no news about her whereabouts,
Unlike me who could be a little bit mischievous and stubborn,my best friend Hafsa is such a lovely soul although a bit crazy when she's with her friends .
The ringing of my phone brought me back from my daylight thinking, it was an unknown number I received the call and it was hafsa, she wanted to meet me alone somewhere in town and made me promise I was not going to tell her mom. I agreed to do so because right now all I want to know is if she's doing fine.Now all I have to do is find an excuse to go out and meet with her, just then my elder brother kabir came downstairs and he looked like he was off to somewhere so I begged him to drop me at the coffee shop which was just a few minutes drive from our house.
On the way to the shop I noticed my brother was a little bit tense, he asked why I was going to the coffee shop and I told him I was going to meet with hafsa cos she has been missing since morning and I just received a call from her telling me to come meet her.
He simply replied ok and continued driving.
He stopped right in front of the coffee shop and I alighted from the car
But then he also got down and followed me and so I asked if he wanted to talk to her because he wants her to go back home but what he replied was quite shocking to me cos he said he was actually there to meet her and that he had something to tell me
At this time we were already in the shop and I spotted hafsa and waved at her ,she looked very tense and a little bit scared.
'How are you doing,you got me scared why did you leave home"I said
