I Was A Flower
I was a flower,
And they tried to kill my bloom,
They tore at my petals,
And dug out the roots.I was a leaf,
Exploring the world,
With just the wind,
But you came around,
And crushed me,
The second I hit the ground .I was a bird,
Chirping as loud as I could,
Letting the world hear all I could sing,
But you fell in love,
With my voice,
You came and took me,
Clipping my wings,
And locking me in a cage.
