This story will use a Common Law Jurisdiction and not a Civil Law. That means that I'll be using a Jury Trial. In most common law jurisdictions, the jury is responsible for finding the facts of the case, while the judge determines the law.
The Philippines is a Civil Code jurisdiction. The judge is normally the one who renders the verdict.
Since, having a Jury in the court gives much thrill so I'll go with it.

I beg your pardon if a 17-year-old writer won't surpass your expectations.
The defense rests.

"Magandang umaga."

"Good day Ali."

After doing my morning routine, kumain na kami ng agahan.
I don't wanna stress myself out. I might get insane knowing that we haven't found any witness yet.
Baka maaga akong tumanda kapag inaalala ko ang kasong yun kahit sa pagtulog ko.

Hindi na rin madalas ang pag-alis ko sa bahay. Ali told me my case is a national chika. I might be dragged by reporters asking why I'm out enjoying freedom while facing a case.
Axel's funeral was even broadcasted. Ironic.
Politicians and bussinessman are being interviewed and they're giving fake sympathy. I pity those people, faking things just to get people's attention.
Peckerheads!

I didn't wish to be part of a society like this. Group of clown and corrupt politicians, bastard bussinessman and hypocrite people.

Just to ease my boredom, I decided to clean my room. Ako na rin ang nagpaligo kay Max. Mabuti at hindi siya takot sa tubig. I really pity Max for staying at Ali's condo.
Ali let him wear clothes that made him not looks like a military dog but a fashion dog instead.
I wonder what Max might say if he can.

After our lunch, someone interrupted our siesta.
Ali opens the door and in my surprise it was Atty. Retico.

This man is a ghost. He'll show up then vanished then show up again in an instance.

"Ciara, abogado mo!"
Ali yelled at me.

I disregarded it as if he was a ghost. I'm bothered about his presence. What the heck I'm feeling!

"Napareto ka boss. Mukhang walang plano si Ciara na kausapin ka kaya ako a lang kakausap sayo." Ali said just enough for me to hear it.

"Hindi siya ang pinunta ko." Austine seriously uttered.

"Nagkatampuhan ba kayo ng baby mo?" Ali continued the conversation.

"Shut up! You fudge nuggets, I'm tired of your accusation about me."

I'm in the kitchen while they're in the leaving room. I can still hear their arguments.

"Don't worry, innocent until proven guilty. I'll find more evidence and I'll prosecute you. You'll plead guilty of loving that lady soon."

"Wow. Very funny."
Austine said emotionless.

"I'm not even kidding fella. I'm certain. I mean, stop being torpe."
Oh, now I get it. They're talking about the lady Austine likes but he keeps on denying.
